2025 DeLorean DMC-EV

A few months ago, Lynx Motors announced the arrival of a modernized and electrified DeLorean DMC-EV, and now we have more information about the vehicle.

Lynx has kept the classic shape of the car that gained fame thanks to the Back to the Future film trilogy, but with the addition of the most modern electric technology. The car received modern LED headlights, lower bodywork, new taillights and a bumper that appears to be made of glass as well as a large diffuser.

The interior of the cabin is completely modern with a three-spoke carbon steering wheel, a massive LED instrument display & touchscreen that extends almost the entire dashboard. There is also a new center console, which contains a wireless charger for mobile phones, as well as a rotary controller with an integrated screen. Also, new door panels can be seen, as well as modern leather-covered seats with improved side bolsters.

The DeLorean DMC-EV is powered by 4 high output electric motors located in the wheels that enable acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in about 4 seconds. It is equipped with a 70 kWh CATL battery pack that provides a range of up to 250 miles (∼402 km).

Lynx Motors is still working on the development of this car, which will cost $249,999 and will begin deliveries to customers in 2025. Buyers can reserve a car with a $2,500 deposit.

2025 BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur with more luxury

The BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur is an improved version of the luxury full-size SUV, which hit the market four years ago. In 2022, Alpina revealed a refreshed version of this model, on which the XB7 Manufaktur is based.

Compared to the standard XB7, this model brings some additional features to make it more attractive to customers who can now choose between ALPINA Blue metallic and ALPINA Green II metallic body colors. Also, Black or Aluminum Satin exterior elements are optionally available, which include BMW Individual Metallic paints like Gunmetal II, Jerez Black, Orinoco, Malachite Green, and Wildberry.

In the cabin, customers can choose exclusive materials, finishes, and design elements. However, the full LAVALINA leather interior option of 427 pieces of leather stands out. This option requires more than 100 hours of manual work to cut and sew, creating a unique vehicle.

Under the hood is a 4.4-L V8 twin-turbo engine with 621 hp (463 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive system. The SUV is equipped with sport-tuned air suspension, unique damper and kinematic setups, and a high-performance brake system.

When it comes to price, the BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur in Germany costs 190,500 euros, and the first deliveries are expected in early 2025. It still remains uncertain whether it will be available in the United States.

Rimac Automobili announce something radical and rebellious

After the recent unveiling of the first completely new Bugatti in the last 20 years, the Bugatti Tourbillon, Rimac Automobili are now announcing something radical. It’s a new car that will be revealed soon, and it was announced with a photo with the description “Are You Radical? The road will never be the same.” and a short video.

Rimac Automobili removed all posts from their official Instagram profile and at the beginning of August started publishing new short videos and photos announcing something new. They even put “Are you Rebellious? Are you Radical? Are you Rimac?” in the profile description.

Speculations have begun about what kind of car it is, and some believe that it is a more radical Nevera with more power and advanced aerodynamics. This is based on the statement of Mate Rimac, who has always said that the current Nevera is more of a hyper GT than something designed with a focus on the track. Also, some believe that Rimac will present a completely new hypercar, a hybrid or something else.

The last hypercar presented by Rimac Automobili is the Nevera Time Attack. It is a racing car built for new records, and only 12 cars were produced. This car set a new fastest time of the Nürburgring Nordschleife (7:05:928), in the category of production electric cars. The driver was Croatian racer Martin Kodrić, and the car was equipped with Michelin Cup2R tires.

“In many ways the Nevera has reinvented the world of the hypercar, bringing new technologies, new abilities and new levels of performance. But the simplest way we can demonstrate its capabilities is to go out and break records. And that’s exactly what we’ve done in 2023 time and again.” said Mate Rimac after setting a new record.

Nevera Time Attack is powered by four electric motors with a total power of 1,914 hp (1,408 kW) and 1,741 lb-ft (2,360 Nm) of torque which is enough to push the car to 62 mph in just 1.81 seconds with the title of EV with the highest verified top speed of 256 (412 km/h). This time the top speed was limited to 219 mph (352 km/h).
