In 1970, Toyota launched the Celica, which was produced in seven generations until 2006. 18 years later, Toyota is bringing back the Celica, but as an all-electric car.
“We are working on the Celica. There are many people in the company who are eagerly awaiting the Toyota Celica. I wonder if it is okay to say this in public, but we are building a new Toyota Celica,” said Nakajima.
There is not much information about the car’s specifications yet. Some rumors say that the new Toyota Celica could be based on the Toyota FT-Se Concept, which was speculated to become the new electric Toyota MR2.
More information will be released soon.
