1990 Ferrari 348 TS is up for auction

In 1989, Ferrari unveiled the successor to the 328 model and the final V8-powered Ferrari model developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari, the Ferrari 348. It was produced until 1995, and 7,122 cars left the production line, of which 2,894 were tb coupés (Trasversale Berlinetta) and 4,228 as 348 ts targa (Trasversale Spider). One of them, a 1990 Ferrari 348 TS is up for auction.

Ferrari 348 TS is powered by a 3.4L quad-cam Tipo F119 V8 engine with 296 hp (221 kW) and 229 lb-ft (310 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Two months ago engine shutdown service was performed which included replacing the timing belt, other engine belts, the spark plugs, and various gaskets and seals. It is mounted on a set of 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Asimetrico tires.

This car is finished in Rosso Corsa and is in good condition. It is equipped with a removable black roof panel, pop-up headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, louvered taillights, quad exhaust tips and Ferrari-branded calipers over ventilated discs along with an anti-lock system.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in Nero Connolly, which also covers the door panels, dashboard and center console. In front of the driver is a steering wheel wrapped in black leather behind which is a six-digit odometer showing 18,185 miles. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, a heated rear window, power windows and door locks, and a dogleg-pattern gated shifter.

The car has a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other damage. It comes with literature, tools, a recent invoice, a damage-free Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.

The auction ends on March 30 and the current highest bid is $53,480 USD.
