Between 1989 and 1994, Porsche produced the 964 model designed by Benjamin Dimson. In 1993, Porsche introduced a Turbocharged version of this series, and by the end of the year, only 1,437 units of the Porsche 911 Turbo S 3.6 were produced, which makes it even rarer than the 911 Carrera RS 2.7. One of them, a 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo S 3.6 (one of 17 produced with standard Turbo bodywork) is for sale.

This Turbo S is powered by a factory-modified 3.6-liter M64/50 flat-six with 380 hp (283 kW) and 384 lb-ft (520 Nm) of torque. The engine was equipped with the X88 power kit, which added modified cylinder heads and camshafts, altered timing, larger capacity fuel injectors and a larger turbocharger and intercooler. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The car is finished in Grand Prix White and is in excellent condition. It is equipped with a revised front splitter, asymmetrical 959-style quarter panel air intakes, a louvered rear spoiler, quad exhaust tips, a rear window wiper, aerodynamic side mirrors, a power-operated sunroof, headlight washers, and red-finished calipers with white Porsche script over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. It sits on polished 18″ Speedline Cup wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

Inside, the electrically adjustable seats are trimmed in Classic Gray leather, which also covers the door panels, dash and rear bench. In front of the driver is a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a six-digit odometer showing 13,538 miles. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, power windows, and a Porsche CR-1 cassette stereo linked to a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer.

The car has a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other damage. It comes with tools and a clean Illinois title.

The auction ends on February 5 and the highest bid at the time of writing was $675,000 USD.
