2009 Audi R8 coupe is up for auction

At the 2006 Paris Auto Show, Audi presented a sports model based on the Audi Le Mans quattro concept car, the Audi R8. This car was designed, developed, and manufactured by a company that produces high performance automotive parts, Audi Sport GmbH. One well-preserved example, the 2009 Audi R8 coupe is up for auction.

The Audi R8 is powered by a 4.2-liter FSI V8 with 420 hp (313 kW) and 317 lb-ft (430 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. In 2012 the engine was dry sumped and modified with a STaSIS Engineering exhaust system and engine control software installed by Niello Audi of Sacramento.

This car is finished in Mugello Blue Pearl Effect, and is in excellent condition. It is equipped with carbon-fiber Sigma side blades, xenon headlights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, front and rear parking sensors, integrated dual exhaust outlets, magnetorheological Audi Magnetic Ride dampers, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated and cross-drilled discs. . It is mounted on 19″ double-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

Inside, heated power-adjustable seats are trimmed in black leather that also covers the door panels and dash. In front of the driver are a three-spoke steering wheel and a digital odometer showing 5,464 miles. Additional equipment includes Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera as well as a Bang & Olufsen sound system, cruise control, and an infotainment system with Audi navigation plus.

The car has a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other damage. It comes with a copy of the window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, and a clean California title.

The auction ends on February 1st and the highest bid at the time of writing is $85,000 USD.
