At the 1994 Paris Motor Show, Ferrari unveiled the final version of the Testarossa, the F512 M, which was the last Ferrari vehicle to feature a flat-12 engine. It was produced until 1996, and only 501 units left the production line, of which 75 were US-market modified examples. One of them, a 1995 Ferrari F512 M, is up for sale.
The car is finished in Rosso Corsa and is in excellent condition. It is equipped with a new stainless steel exhaust system, updated suspension, a new Bosch anti-lock brake system, a unique set of taillights, three-piece Speedline alloy wheels, a revised front fascia and unique fixed headlights that replaced the retractable units. In 2014, the camshaft oil gaskets, timing belts, hood struts, and brake pads were replaced, and the brake discs were refinished.
Inside, the seats are upholstered in brown leather that also covers the door panels and the lower part of the dashboard. The updated steering wheel and the upper part of the dashboard are covered in black leather with black stitching. The car also received adjustable aluminum pedals, a more powerful air conditioning system and revised cabin trim.
The Ferrari F512 M is powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 engine with 440 hp (324 kW) and 370 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. It reaches 62 mph in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 196 mph (315 km/h). The odometer shows 10,030 miles at the time of cataloguing.
This fantastic Ferrari F512 M comes with window sticker, manual, service invoices and factory toolkit with leather case.
The auction will take place on December 10, and the estimated value of the car is between $400,000 – $450,000 USD. Offered without reserve.
