1988 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet is for sale

In 1975, Porsche unveiled its new sports model 930, which at the time was the fastest production car in Germany. In 1987, the Stuttgart-based company introduced the Cabriolet version of this model, which was produced until 1989, and only 100 cars left the production line. One of them, a 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet, is up for sale.

The car is in excellent condition and finished in Venetian Blue Metallic. It has been well maintained and only has 9,951 miles on the odometer. It is equipped with a “tea tray” rear spoiler, a blue soft top, headlight washers, fog lights, four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes, power windows and locks, black stone guards ahead of the rear wheels, a blue boot cover and dual exhaust outlets. In 2014, a replacement clutch and flywheel was installed.

Inside, the front electronically adjustable seats are trimmed in gray leather that can also be seen on the door panels. The dashboard and the four-spoke steering wheel are covered in leather. It is equipped with a Blaupunkt cassette player, air conditioning, an alarm system and Porsche-branded floor mats.

The 911 Turbo Cabriolet is powered by a 3.3 L turbocharged flat-six engine with 282 hp (210 kW) and 278 lb-ft (377 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission and it reaches 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. It is mounted on a set of 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels wrapped in 205/55 (front) and 245/45 (rear) Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires.

The car has a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other damage. It comes with factory literature, spare keys and service records.

The auction ends on November 28th and the current highest bid is $93,930 USD.
