2022 was a very successful year for Lamborghini with 9,242 cars sold, and the same was expected in 2023. According to the report, Lamborghini delivered 10,112 cars worldwide in the past 12 months, which is the best result in the history of this Italian manufacturer.
Although governments are trying to encourage customers to buy electric cars with subsidies, the demand for ICE cars and hybrids is still high. Proof of this is the 6,087 copies of the Lamborghini Urus delivered in the last 12 months, and 3,962 copies of the Lamborghini Huracan model.
Lamborghini had the highest sales growth in the European market, where 4,000 cars were delivered, which is a 14 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year. In the US, 3,000 cars were sold, which is a 9 percent increase over the previous year.
In March last year, Lamborghini presented the successor to the Aventador, the Lamborghini Revuelto, and the first examples were delivered at the end of the year. That is why these examples were not included in the total number, and what effect they will have on the sales results in 2024 remains to be seen.
The Lamborghini Revuelto is powered by a 6.5-L V12 combined with an electric motor with a total output of 1,001 hp (747 kW) and 595 lb-ft (807 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission. This powerful SUV is capable of accelerating from zero to 62 in 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
