2024 Jeep Wrangler

It’s been 37 years since the world’s most famous and capable off-road model, the Jeep Wrangler, hit the market. It has been sold in 5 million units worldwide, and now Jeep has unveiled a redesigned version for European customers that will arrive in mid-2024.

The new Wrangler gets a new front grille and a choice of hard or soft top, as well as a Sky One-Touch roof. It will be offered in 10 body colors, including the new Anvil. Inside, the 12-way adjustable front seats are upholstered in black leather with contrasting blue stitching. Black leather also covers the door panels, dashboard and armrest. On the central part of the dashboard there is a 12.3-inch screen of the fifth generation of the multimedia system Uconnect (standard).

When it comes to powertrains, the Wrangler will be offered with two types of engines. The 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine with 272 hp (200 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This version will be available as a limited edition and only in certain markets such as Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain.

The second version, Wrangler 4xe, is powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine combined with an electric motor with a total power of 380 hp (279 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque. It is equipped with a 17 kWh battery and will use a 400V architecture. The driver will have three driving modes at his disposal: Hybrid, Electric and eSave, which can be selected via the E Selec buttons.
