2025 Audi Q5 Sportback

In 2020, Audi introduced the mid-range SUV, the Q5 Sportback. Now the German manufacturer has launched the second generation of this model, which brings a more sporty design, better aerodynamics and more space in the cabin.

Compared to its predecessor, the new generation Q5 Sportback has a more dynamic sloping roof line. The singleframe grill is placed a little higher, and below it are large intakes with sensors. The design of the rear part has also been refreshed with a recognizable edge on the trunk lid, a diffuser integrated into the raised bumpers, digital OLED rear lights of the second generation and a new projection light in the spoiler above the rear window. The S model has twin round tailpipes with a brushed design.

The Q5 Sportback is built on the PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) platform it shares with the Q5 and A5 models. European buyers will be able to choose between three engine options. The first option is a 2.0 TFSI engine with 204 hp (150 kW) and 250 lb-ft (340 Nm) of torque and FWD. Quattro all-wheel drive is available as an option. The second option is a 2.0 TDI engine with 204 hp (150 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque and quattro all-wheel drive. The most powerful version of the SQ5 is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-L TFSI V6 engine with 367 hp (270 kW) and 405 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via the S tronic 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

When it comes to price, in Germany the Q5 Sportback will cost 54,800 euros, while the starting price of the SQ5 Sportback will be 85,400 euros. The order book will open at the end of the year .
