Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Coming to Europe in Q3 2025

At this year’s CES, Ram introduced its first all-electric version of the 1500 pickup, the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV. It is a concept that should arrive on the United States market in early 2025, and on the European market in Q3 2025.

The car is based on the advanced STLA Frame architecture, an evolution of the Ram 1500 platform specifically designed for electric vehicles with separate chassis. It’s equipped with 24-inch wheels with illuminated RAM trim covers, but the wide fenders also provide enough room for 35-inch off-road tires.

Although the company did not publish all the details, what we know for now is that the new electric pickup will be equipped with a 168 kWh battery that will enable a range of up to 563 kilometers, an 800-volt DC system that enables fast charging with a power of up to 350 kW. A 10-minute charge will provide 160 kilometers of range. It will have a towing capacity of up to 6.3 tons and a payload of up to 1.2 tons.

Inside, the Revolution Concept can be customized for an additional four inches of legroom without changing the chassis size compared to current production models. Additional work space or even more seating can be provided thanks to the modular “Ram Track” system, whereby seats and consoles can be easily moved to the floor. A special atmosphere in the cabin is provided by the electrochromatic glass roof, which can be adjusted to let in as much light as you want.

When it comes to the powertrain, it will be powered by two electric motors with a total output of 654 hp (481 kW) and 840 lb-ft (1,139 Nm), which is enough for the vehicle to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds.

The price of the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV is unknown.
