Czinger announces six unique cars by 2030

After the presentation of the two supercars Czinger 21C and Czinger 21C V Max, the American manufacturer of hybrid sports cars, Czinger, announced the production of six unique cars in the next six years, including the Hyper GT with gullwing doors.

The news was announced by Kevin and Lukas Czinger in an interview with Top Gear, when they said: “It’s going into production. We wanted to deliver fully certified examples of the 21C in 2023, so I was focused on just that. Also, now we have companies like Aston Martin and Mercedes, who are our clients, as well as large companies from the aerospace and defense sectors. Among them is General Atomics, with whom we work on drones the size of an F16 fighter jet. We took a drone that had 184 fuselage components and reduced that number to four. We reduced the production time from 12 days to 12 hours. Now other aerospace companies come to us and ask us how we did it.”

The 21C V Max was introduced last summer, and is powered by a 2.88L twin-turbo V8 engine combined with two electric motors with a total power of up to 1,350 hp (993 kW). Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed sequential transmission with hydraulic clutch.

“In the long term, Czinger as a brand will always lead a policy of low volume and high performance, but we are developing new technologies, new engine configurations, new gearboxes and electric motors together with cooling systems. All of this will come to the mass market over time. We are already less – more designed our new vehicle. It’s going to be a pretty amazing car. The Hyper GT is one option, I can’t say more than that. But I will say that our goal is to produce six unique cars by the end of the decade,” said Lukas, Kevin’s son and businessman partner.

Motorcyclist Carles Falcon is the new victim of the Dakar Rally

Rally Dakar is an annual rally raid in which hundreds of drivers participate in different categories. Also, it is one of the longest (7,891 kilometers) and most dangerous races in the world, which since 1979 (inaugural season) has always been fatal for drivers as well as other non-participants. This season is no exception, and the victim is the Spanish motorcyclist Carles Falcon.

Falcon lost his life due to severe injuries sustained in an accident during the Dakar Rally last week. He was driving the second stage (kilometer 448) when, 15 kilometers before the finish line, he fell and hit his head hard on the ground, after which he was transported by helicopter to the hospital. The doctors tried to save his life, but after several days of struggle and transport to Spain, his body could not take it.

“We are saddened by the death of the Spanish motorcyclist Carles Falcon. The organizers of the Dakar Rally and the competitors express their condolences to his family and friends,” the rally organization said.

“Carles has left us. The medical team has confirmed that the neurological damage caused by the cardiorespiratory attack at the time of the accident is irreversible,” his team posted on Instagram.

Falcon was not only a driver, he also worked as an off-road instructor and guide.

Porsche 911 Turbo S with 790 hp

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is one of those cars that many tuners have tried to make better with more or less success, but when one of the world’s best and specialists for Porsche cars, TechArt, takes it into his hands, the result is a true beast with 790 hp.

The tuner equipped the Porsche 911 Turbo S with the GTsport carbon package, which includes a front bumper with side wings, side skirts, side air intakes, a rear diffuser, bumper vents, a rear spoiler, a new hood, side mirrors, adaptive suspension, and a TechArt sports exhaust system with carbon ends of the exhaust pipes. There are also two sets of rims, Formula VI Race with optional carbon aero discs and Formula VII Race. Inside, a combination of leather and Alcantara covers the seats, steering wheel, dashboard, door panels and center console as well as the armrest.

When it comes to the powertrain, customers will be able to choose between two upgrade packages, the Power Kit TA092/T1.1 and the Power Kit TA092/T2.1.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is powered by a twin-turbo 3.7-liter flat-six with 640 hp (477 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. The Power Kit TA092/T1.1 package brings a remapped ECU and a power increase to 700 hp (522 kW) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all wheels via an 8-speed PDK transmission.

Power Kit TA092/T2.1 brings power increase to 775 hp (578 kW) and 701 lb-ft (950 Nm) with Gasoline Particulate Filter, or 790 hp (588 kW) and 701 lb-ft (950 Nm) without Gasoline Particulate Filter. Also, the top speed has been increased to 350 km/h (217 mph).

When it comes to price, TechArt did not say how much the upgrade will cost.
