Donkervoort will produce 25 new F22 ultralight cars

At the end of 2022, the Dutch company revealed a limited edition Donkervoort F22 ultralagan car. The plan was to produce only 75 examples, however, as the first 50 cars have already been sold, the company announced that they intend to produce another 25 examples.

The F22 is powered by a 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 500 hp (368 kW) and 472 lb-ft (640 Nm) of torque, which is enough to push the 750 kg car to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. , 124 mph (200 km/h) in 7.5 seconds with a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h). Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.

The car continues the story of the previous model D8 GTO, which is shaping the future and carrying the heritage. It sets new standards in speed, handling, driving purity, design and everyday usability. It is based on a tubular steel-aluminum chassis, which does not lose grip in turns even with a force of 2.15G. It is equipped with a removable Twin Targa carbon-fibre roof, hydraulic ride-height adjustment, active suspension and a new brake system. It is mounted on Nankang 18 and 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in ARI 235/40 (front) and 275/35 (rear) tires.

Inside, the cabin is adorned with Recaro seats with six-point harnesses. The Donkervoort F22 represents a real analogy in the digital world because the driver cannot count on the power steering system and brakes, and the only help to the independent suspension is the optional hydraulic system with which the car can be raised from the ground by an additional 35 millimeters.

The starting price is EUR 245,000.

1962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider sold for $18 million

At the 1960 Geneva Motor Show Ferrari unveiled one of the most notable GT cars, the Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider. It was produced until 1963, and only 106 cars left the production lines, of which 56 were with short wheelbase chassis. One of them, a 1962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider, sold for $18,045,000 USD.

The car has the number 3099 GT and is one of only 37 examples with covered headlights. It is finished in the special shade Azzurro Metallizzato MM 16240, which adorned some 250 GT models with Pininfarina bodies produced between 1960 and 1962.

As a new car, it was delivered to the USA and exhibited at the New York International Auto Show in April 1962. After that, it was transported to the West Coast (Hollywood, California), where it stayed for several years. In 1970, the car crashed into a curb, and the suspension, brakes and exhaust system were damaged. In 1972, Charles Betz and Fred Peters bought it for $2,400 and restored it in the early 2000s. After that, it received the Ferrari Classiche certificate and won numerous awards at exhibitions over the past two decades.

The Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider is powered by a 3.0L CC SOHC Tipo 168/61 V-12 engine with 240 hp (177 kW) and 195 lb-ft (264 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox.

Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica with new equipment kit

In April 2022, Lamborghini unveiled its new car that has found its place between the Evo and STO models, the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica. It didn’t take long for one of the tuners to raise the performance of this car to a higher level. The first of them was Novitec.

Novitec has prepared an equipment package that includes new carbon components that make the Huracán more stable at high speeds, such as a trunk lid with air-ducts, side panels, and mirror covers. There are also new sport spring sets, KW aluminum height-adjustable coilover suspension thanks to which the car is closer to the ground by an additional 35 millimeters, and a new exhaust system with or without flap regulation (available with 999 fine gold plating). Now, the sports car looks even more spectacular and delivers even more driving fun.

The tuner did not touch the engine, so the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica is still powered by an atmospheric 5.2-liter V10 engine with 640 hp (470 kW) and 416 lb-ft (565 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It reaches 62 mph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km / h).

The standard 20- and 21-inch rims have been replaced by a center-mounted option from Vossen, which Novitec offers in 72 colors.
