Tesla is creating an ecological paradise next to the Giga Texas plant

Last April, Tesla opened a facility called Giga Texas that will have the capacity to produce 500,000 vehicles a year. The plant covers an area of 250 hectares and currently produces 250,000 vehicles per year. Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on Twitter that the company will expand its land area after the Giga Texas plant is at full capacity. This area will be called “ecological paradise”, and it is an additional 522,720 feet (12 hectares) that will be open to the public and will have a boardwalk and numerous amenities.

This is positive news for Tesla, as the company has recently been under fire for safety and mechanical problems. Despite this, Tesla records sales growth every year. Last year, the company recorded a growth of 3 percent compared to 2020, and in the first six months of this year, 564,700 vehicles were delivered.

Six months ago, Tesla opened its first plant in Europe. It is a $5 billion investment, with which the company wants to reduce the pressure on plants in Asia and the United States. “This is a big day for the factory and it is another step towards a sustainable future,” Musk said.

At full capacity, the plant will produce 500,000 vehicles per year, significantly more than Volkswagen, which sold 450,000 electric vehicles worldwide last year.

Tuned Fiat Multipla is a beast with 1,014 HP

The Fiat Multipla is a city car that some consider the ugliest car in the world. It is a six-seater with plenty of glass surfaces and numerous practical details, but redesigned, it could make a completely different impression. That’s exactly what YouTubers Sylvain Levy and Pierre Chabrier did, creating a real beast.

The car is equipped with a wide body kit from W-Autosport. The rear doors have been removed, the rear wheel arches are wider, new side skirts and a new front splitter have been installed, and the car has new wide tires.

The biggest change is under the bonnet. The standard Fiat Multipla, in the most powerful version, is powered by a 1.9 Multijet inline-4 engine with 120 hp (88 kW) and 152 lb-ft (205 Nm) of torque. However, the tuners installed, believe it or not, the engine from the Corvette C6 Z06. So now the Multipla is powered by a V8 engine with an incredible 1014 hp (746 kW). It makes it the most powerful Fiat Multipla, but also one of the most powerful cars in the world.

The car will be premiered at the Paris Motor Show.

Porsche Museum exhibited 911 Carrera RS models

This year, Porsche marks half a century since the appearance of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS on the market. It is a great success of the company from Zuffenhausen, which on this occasion allowed visitors to the Porsche Museum to see all RS models, including the naturally aspirated 911 Carrera RSR, which won world championship races including Targa Florio and the 24 Hours of Daytona.

It all started back in 1973 when the Carrera RS 2.7 had its premiere and was named after 356 Carreras while the RS was developed to meet the homologation requirements in motorsport. The car was designed with a larger body that allowed more space for a larger engine compared to the previous 911 models. In order to meet the sporty characteristics, which meant a reduction in weight below 1000 kg, thin steel and thinner glass were used in the construction of the car. All this resulted in the many victories that Carrera RS achieved in the FIA races of Group 4.

The exhibition is called “Spirit of Carrera RS” and visitors will be able to see cars from Series 964, 993, 996, 997, 991 and 992. There is also a rare limited edition of the new 911 Sport Classic. The car is based on a 70s model, the 911 Carrera RS, and according to Michael Mauer, Vice President Style Porsche, “The new 911 Sport Classic is the first vehicle to feature Sport Gray Metallic paintwork.” It is powered by a 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine with 550 hp (405 kW). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 7-speed manual transmission. It is mounted on 20/21-inch alloy wheels. Porsche will produce only 1,250 copies of this model.

The latest presented Porsche model 911 GT3 RS shows that RS models have a future. It is a road legal sports car that brings new aerodynamic and technological solutions. Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine with only 518 hp (386 kW). The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch (PDK) transmission. It reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 184 mph (296 km/h).
