Milk delivery truck with 815 HP

In the past, a milk delivery truck could be seen on a daily basis, but it has long been out of use because people now buy and store milk in refrigerators. Many of these trucks, which were moving on American streets, were produced by the company Divco, and one of them got a second chance.

Nick and his father decided to convert the milk delivery truck into an acceleration racing vehicle. This is not their first project, considering that they have done five of them so far, and we can say that this one is impressive. The exterior of the truck has been retained, the bodywork is the same, but the chassis was taken over from a 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck and redesigned.

The interior has changed significantly. Seats from the Dodge Caravan have been installed, and a new sound system with a subwoofer has been installed. The truck also got navigation. Nick has more plans for the truck, and it certainly won’t be slower.

When it comes to the powertrain, the old 107 hp (79 kW) engine has been removed. Now the truck is powered by a naturally-aspirated V8 Chevy Big Block engine with an impressive 815 hp (599 kW). This power allows the vehicle to reach a speed of 114 mph (183 km / h).

We are sure that there are more examples like this, and also that this will not be the last.

The new DeLorean Alpha5 will be EV

The car company DMC decided to return the legendary car, but this time as EV. It is a modern Alpha5 model that still retains some features of the well-known design of its predecessor, the DMC-12, such as the door.

The car is painted in a combination of two colors, and the roof line is a reminder of the well-known model from the trilogy “Back to the Future”. It is equipped with thinner front and rear lights, a charging port located on the front left bumper, so there is no need to open the lid. There are also massive wheels.

Inside, the driver has at his disposal a touch screen, located on the center console, with all control buttons. There is also a complete digital cluster as well as a steering wheel with a flat bottom.

When it comes to powertrain, there is not much information. It is known to reach 62 mph in less than 4 seconds with a top speed of 150 mph (241 km / h). The engine is powered by a battery of over 100 kWh, which gives the car a range of more than 300 miles (483 km). All this comes as standard equipment.

The company announced that in the future we could expect a sports coupe with a V8 engine, an electric sedan and a hydrogen-powered SUV. Production of the Alpha5 will begin in 2024 and only 88 units will be produced.
