Behind the upgrade of the third edition of Mini’s famous GP series is the Dutch company Beek Auto Racing. It is a Mini JCW GP3 model with 330 hp.
In the department of the Dutch company Beek Auto Racing, which deals with Mini cars, they made an effort to offer owners solutions with which the powerful MINI will be even better. The result is a limited edition JCW GP3.
The third edition of the Mini GP series was presented last year and stands at the top of the model range from the generation behind the F56 designation. The JCW GP3 two-seater is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 330 horsepower. Power transmission to the front axle is done via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Beek Auto Racing engineers did not offer the owners of the third GP a manual transmission, but they raised the power of the BMW engine to 330 hp, which is an increase of 24 hp compared to the base model. Parts of the standard suspension have been replaced by parts produced by AST with which the JCW GP3 will be more comfortable and manageable on uneven roads with asphalt quality that is far from the quality offered on the tracks.
It is equipped with an exhaust system from the British company Milltek, which should ensure better sound quality. In addition to the tires (Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2), the standard mechanical limited differential lock will help in the fight against understeer in corners.
