Manhart RQ 900

Manhart Performance has upgraded another Audi model. This time it’s the RQ 900, a high-performance SUV based on the Audi RS Q8.

The Audi RS Q8 is powered by a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine with 600 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, which allows it to reach 62 mph (100 km / h) in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph (305 km / h). This is more than a good result for a car that weighs almost 2.4 tons. However, that did not impress Manhart.

The RQ 900 is powered by the same V8 engine but with 918 hp and 870 lb-ft (1,180 Nm) of torque. This is still better than Mansory, ABT and MTM, and is currently the second most powerful tuned Audi RS Q8 behind Wheelsandmore’s 996 hp beast.

To achieve high performance, Manhart has installed a new intercooler and a turbo performance kit. Wider fenders, front splitter, rear spoiler, and a new stainless steel exhaust system with four 100 mm exhaust pipes with ceramic or carbon finish have been installed. The RQ 900 has an adjustable suspension that allows lowering by 30 or 40 mm.

Inside, there are leather upholstery with decorative stitching, Manhart floor mats, and “golden” details on the dashboard, steering wheel and doors.

The RQ 900 will use MANHART Classic Line rims with 24-inch tires measuring 295/30 ZR24 and 355/25 ZR24.

Price list of the upgrade package without VAT:

  • performance improvements $ 26,699 (€ 22,500)
  • body kit $ 29,547 (€ 24,900)

Honda Civic – two halves of the same car

The Honda Civic has always been a compact sports gene, while the Type-R model required a lot of attention from the driver.

Ever since the early 90s, drivers would overestimate their own abilities and very often end up wrapped around a pole. Such a situation occurred recently in Denver.

According to Renee Gutierrez-Martinez, the mother of the car owner, at the time of the accident the car was being driven by her daughter’s boyfriend, Kevin Acosta. He blamed the older driver, who allegedly took away his advantage and hit him in the side of the vehicle. This pushed him off the road and then hit a light pole.

The published video shows the Civic after the accident, or at least what was left of it. Luckily, there were no fatalities. In the accident, all participants suffered minor injuries, including the driver, who allegedly caused the accident by taking away the advantage. Honda is obviously going to a scrapyard, and some parts, including the engine, could be on sale soon.

Ferrari F8 N-Largo

Another Ferrari has experienced the upgrade of the German tuner Novitec. It is a Ferrari F8 N-Largo which is based on the Ferrari F8 Tributo model.

The performance of this 3.9-liter eight-cylinder twin-turbo with 710 hp for Novitec engineers was not enough. They decided to raise them to a higher level. Before improving engine power, they increased the body width by 5.1 inches. The new carbon body designed by Vittorio Strosek includes a wider front and rear bumper, a rear spoiler for better driving comfort and a new hood cover.

The upgraded F8 N-Largo now has 818 hp (602 kW) and 686 lb-ft (930 Nm) of torque, which is 108 hp more than the standard F8 model. For better driving performance, Novitec has installed adjustable springs that allow the vehicle to be lowered by 35 millimeters (1.4 inches) or raised by 40 millimeters (1.6 inches).

Thanks to upgraded engine performance, the Ferrari F8 N-Largo reaches 62 mph in 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 211 mph (340 km / h). The engine is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. For better grip, there are 21-inch front and 22-inch rear forged Vossen NF10 wheels.

Only 15 Ferrari F8 N-Largos will be produced, and the price of the car in the US will be around $ 274,000.
