2021 BMW Safety Cars

In response to competition, BMW has introduced three models of safety cars: the M3 Sedan, the M4 Coupe and the M5 CS. All three cars come in different colors: the M3 Competition Sedan in Gray Dark Metallic, the M4 Competition Coupe with a vibrant São Paulo Yellow and the M5 CS in Deep Green Metallic.

These BMW models will be used as safety cars in MotoGP racing. Although all models were developed with sporty performance, it still needed to be made some improvements such as a roof light bar, flashing low-mounted front lights, quick-release hood latches, and emergency power shutoffs to safely transport the cars overseas.

BMW also introduced a safety motorcycle. It is a motorcycle that has a BMW Motorrad, 1000 RR, engine. The motorcycle is white and will be decorated with traditional M colors.

All these BMW models will debut at the MotoGP race Grande Prémio de Portugal Portimão.

Mercedes AMG GT Black Series

The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is a new project from Wheelsandmore. It is the most powerful model from the Black Series.

The most attention is attracted by the set of forged rims with central locking, Underdock. The locking system is made of aluminum and magnesium. Its advantage is that it can be switched from car to car using an adapter, without changing the hub.

The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series got 20-inch five-spoke wheels in different colors with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. There are also new carbon-ceramic discs with brake pliers that allow for greater friction. A new sports exhaust system is under development.

The upgraded Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with 789 hp and 641 lb-ft of torque. Compared to the base model, whose top speed is 202 mph (325 km / h), the upgraded GT reaches a speed of 209 mph (336 km / h).

McLaren 765LT with 1,000 hp

In early March, Hennessey announced it would increase the power of the McLaren 765LT up to 1,000 hp.

As a reminder, the standard McLaren 765LT develops 755 hp and reaches 60 mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph (330 km / h). That was not enough for Hennessey, so he decided to work on the power of this supercar.

Founder & CEO, John Hennessey said: “The new 765LT is underrated from the factory. We tested it on our in-house dyno and it delivered about 765 HP – at the rear wheels. This means it’s producing closer to 865 bhp in bone stock form. ” He also said, “Upgrading the 765LT to 1,000 HP will drop the 0-60 mph time to just 2.1 seconds, which is just nuts.”

The standard McLaren 765LT costs $ 358,000. If you want to upgrade this beast, you will have to pay an additional $ 24,950 for the kit and installation.
