Audi RS6 GTO

Audi unveiled the RS6 GTO concept at the 40th anniversary of the legendary 90-quattro IMSA GTO race car. The concept was developed at Audi’s Neckarsulm plant and is based on a high-performance caravan with a V8 engine.

So far without technical data, the photos show that the car has white one-piece wheel covers with quattro markings and red central caps as well as a former race car. At the back is a prominent spoiler painted red. The stickers are the same as the original car, but have a slightly different design of the side lines. There is also the number 40, which indicates the anniversary.

“The RS6 GTO concept of our apprentices has turned out to be an incredibly great car. I am very proud of them and the results of their work,” says Helmut Stettner, Neckarsulm plant manager and possessor of one of the most German names on the planet.

Interior has been modified. The rear bench has been slung out and replaced by a roll cage, while the front seats are switched for extremely slender Recaros with minimal padding.

The center console has‘t been replaced, but the front side windows have been replaced with safety nets, which is another common feature with the racing ancestor.

Last month, Audi unveiled the TT RS 40 Years of Quattro as an ultra-exclusive special version of the sports coupe inspired by the Sport Quattro S1 race car that won the 1987 Pikes Peak. Only 40 copies will be produced and are destined for the German market.

BMW iX

The new BMW iX is a all-electric SUV. The BMW iX is based on a new platform specially developed by the Bavarian company for electric vehicles.

BMW’s electric SUV has been known as the iNext, but the production model actually bears the iX designation. Although development is still ongoing, the electric SUV has been introduced and almost all of its secrets have been revealed. There are many advantages, and BMW is especially proud of automated driving and digital technologies. The computer can process 20 times more data than previous models.

“The BMW iX shows how we can give new technologies a very modern and emotional design. The car is technologically complex, but it feels very clear and uncomplicated. The BMW iX offers a mobile living space in which people will feel at ease, where the car’s intelligence is only there when you need it.” said Adrian van Hooydonk, senior design VP at BMW.

In terms of external dimensions, the iX is very similar to BMW’s conventional-powered models. It is as long as X5, as high as X6. The wheels are similar in size to the X7, it will offer up to 22-inch aerodynamically optimised rims and 275/40 profile rubber.

The BMW iX is the first production vehicle with a hexagonal steering wheel that the manufacturer claims facilitates access and allows the driver a better view of the cluster. Inside, there is also a console with buttons for electric seats located on the door panels. It should also be said that the iX has the largest glass surface ever fitted to a single BMW model.

The SUV is powered by BMW’s fifth-generation all-electric powertrain. The two-motor drivetrain amounts to 500 horsepower, getting it to 62mph in under five seconds.

Thanks to its massive 100-kWh battery pack, BMW iX has a range about 300 miles WLTP. For longer trips than that, the battery can ingest charge at 200kW, meaning 40-odd minutes for an 80 per cent recharge. A quick 10-minute charge should add 75 miles to the range.

Production should start in the second half of 2021 at the Dingolfing plant, and sales at the end of the same year.

Rezvani Hercules 6×6

The new Hercules 6×6 is easily the toughest and most powerful production truck in the world. The Hercules is available with a range of FCA-sourced engines including diesel, V6, and V8 power.

You’ve probably heard of Rezvani Tank. The Hercules is an extended version of that model, it uses the Jeep platform and interior components, and it has a third axle and a large cargo space.

Like Tank, Hercules has undergone Military Edition treatment, which makes it bulletproof, and it also contains accessories such as thermal cameras, electronic boxes, explosive undercarriage protection, sirens, blinkers, gas masks and anti-hypothermia equipment. The truck also has an LED roof light, a bull bar, and unique metal sports bars finished in gold.

“The Rezvani Hercules 6×6 was not designed to simply be a bigger vehicle by size but rather one that is a perfect balance between its brutal, muscular character yet comfortable enough and practical enough to be a daily driver in the city,” said Rezvani CEO Ferris Rezvani.

This monster hides a 7.0-liter V8 engine under the hood that delivers 1,300 hp. That’s more than twice the power of the Mercedes G64 and Hennessey VelociRaptor. For the base model, you can order a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 rated at 285 horsepower. Alternatively, the Jeep EcoDiesel 3-liter offers a combination of frugality and 260 hp with 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of twist. Power is transmitted to all six wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

There is also a version with a 260 hp V6 diesel engine, a version with a V6 petrol that develops 285 hp and a version with a Hemi V8 engine that delivers 500 hp. There are three types of Fox suspension adjustments, two braking systems and several hook winch options. Also, in the interior it is possible to get Nappa skin.

The price of the standard Rezvani Hercules model is $ 225,000, while the most expensive costs close to $ 500,000.
