BMW M2 Final Edition

BMW M2 With 741 HP

While BMW is testing the new generation Coupé M2 model, German tuning company Lightweight Performance has decided to upgrade the BMW M2 (F87 Series).

The BMW M2 Competition has a 4-liter six-cylinder biturbo engine that delivers 410 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. With a top speed of 174 mph it reaches 62 mph in just 4.4 seconds.

To increase the performance of the outgoing BMW M2 (F87 Series), Lightweight Performance engineers increased engine power to 741 hp and 649 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is installed for faster power transmission to the rear axle.

Increasing performance also required additional interventions. To increase stability and handling, the car’s weight has been reduced and the suspension strengthened. Eibach forged 19-inch Titan 7 wheels and an M Performance braking system have been added.

Inside, there are heated Alcantara leather seats with M2 logos and a steering wheel covered in Alcantara leather. The roof, hood, fenders and three-piece front spoiler are made of carbon, as is the rear spoiler.

Upgrade prices have not been announced.
