2025 Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron and SQ6 Sportback e-tron

This year’s Paris Motor Show has started, and some companies have already presented their new models, as well as refreshed editions of existing ones. One of them is the German manufacturer Audi, which expanded its fleet with two crossover coupes, the Q6 Sportback e-tron and the SQ6 Sportback e-tron. Starting price 65,900 euros.

Audi has kept the familiar design of the previous models Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron, but with some changes that make the Q6 Sportback e-tron and SQ6 Sportback e-tron more sporty. This contributed to the reduction of the drag coefficient to 0.26, which is 0.02 better than the standard model. Both models retain the same wheelbase as the current standard models, but the Q6 Sportback e-tron is 37 mm closer to the ground than the SQ6 e-tron.

In the cabin, eco-friendly materials with recycled elements, ceiling, pillars and visors covered in Draft (a fabric made from up to 100 percent recycled polyester), demonstrate Audi’s focus on sustainability. Also, fabrics made from recycled materials such as Elastic Melange are available. When it comes to technology, standard equipment includes an 11.9-inch instrument cluster with a 14.5-inch infotainment system, a voice assistant enhanced with ChatGPT and allowing it to recognize more than 800 commands. Those who want more can choose an AR head-up display, a 10.9-inch screen for the passenger, a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with 20 speakers, and four integrated into the front headrests.

When it comes to the powertrain, the Q6 Sportback e-tron is powered by a rear-mounted engine with 292 hp (214 kW), which is enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds. It is equipped with an 83 kWh battery that enables a range of 545 kilometers on a single battery charge. There is also a premium version with a 100 kWh battery and a range of 656 kilometers, and a more powerful electric motor with 326 hp (239 kW). That’s not the end of the offer, because the most powerful version, the Q6 Sportback e-tron quattro, has 388 hp (285 kW), AWD and a range of 636 km. Customers can use a 225, 260 and 270 kW DC fast charger that allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 22 minutes.

The SQ6 Sportback e-tron is far more powerful than the Q6 Sportback e-tron. This powerful car has 517 hp (380 kW) and all-wheel drive. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph).

2025 Peugeot E-408 has arrived

At the beginning of October, Peugeot premiered its all-electric crossover SUV, the E-408. It is the electric version of the Peugeot 408 model, with which the French manufacturer has completed its range of EVs.

At first glance, the E-408 is almost identical to the 408 model. Only a few minor elements can be noticed that show that it is still an electric vehicle. There is a new grille with chrome trim, thin matrix LED headlights, LED taillights in three parts that simulate the shape of three claws, and a new inscription that will differentiate this car from the petrol and hybrid. The lower part of the body is protected by a series of protective covers, and it should also be noted that the car is equipped with 19-inch wheels with a graphite finish.

The interior of the all-electric crossover SUV E-408 has a futuristic design and reveals a wide range of technological equipment, such as a fully configurable 3D 10″ digital instrument panel.

The car is developed on the EMP2 platform, and is equipped with a lithium-ion 58.2 kWh battery located in the chassis of the car, between the wheels, in order to avoid losing space in the passenger compartment. This battery provides a range of 453 kilometers according to WLTP, which is more than enough for everyday trips. Thanks to the charging power of up to 120 kW, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just over 30 minutes, and a 10-minute charge enables a range of almost 100 km.

The Peugeot E-408 is powered by an electric motor with 190 hp (140 kW) and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) of torque. In Eco mode, drivers can count on more power, 170 hp (125 kW) and 199 lb-ft (270 Nm) of torque. In Sport mode, the E-408 offers a maximum of 214 hp (157 kW) and 254 lb-ft (345 Nm) of torque.

The order book will be opened in certain markets, and the price will be around 49,000 euros.
