Ferrari 296 GTB with 900 hp

In the middle of last year, Ferreri introduced the 296 GTB model. It is Ferrari’s first “real” model that is powered by a six-cylinder engine, and due to the hybrid powertrain, it is far from the entry-level model. German tuning company DMC has improved the aerodynamics and engine performance of this model.

The car is painted red with black carbon parts, and the company says that the aerodynamics of the vehicle enable increased grip in corners and handling. The 296 GTB is equipped with a new set of springs that bring the floor of the Ferrari two-seater closer to the ground by an additional 35 millimeters.

The Ferrari 296 GTB is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with 654 hp (488 kW) and an electric motor with 165 hp (123 kW) that give a total of 819 hp (610 kW) and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque. Thanks to turbochargers, DMC engineers have raised the power to 900 hp (662 kW), which (with a recalibrated gearbox) should further improve the performance of the 1,470 kilogram heavy plug-in hybrid. The engine is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The base model reaches 62 mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph (330 km / h).

The price of the upgrade of the Ferrari 296 GTB costs 270,000 EUR, which does not include the optional Assetto Fiorano package.

The car also got a new adaptive exhaust system with quadruple black finishes. There is a Heico badge on the front grille, as well as on the back. The price of R-Design body kit is a little over 6,500 EUR.

The Volvo XC 60 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 316 hp (232 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting mode. Reaches 60 mph in 6.1 seconds with a top speed of 131 mph (211 km / h).
