Formula 1 drivers try to repeat scenes from the movie “No Time to Die”

After its premiere, the new James Bond movie, called “No Time to Die,” could easily become the most watched movie this year. Just like in other sequels, the legendary Aston Martin DB5 was used in this one as well. Some extraordinary and exciting car scenes can be seen in the movie, which is why Formula 1 drivers tried to repeat them.

The DB5 became famous thanks to James Bond, and the greatest credit goes to Sean Connery and Goldfinger in which the DB5 plays a major role among cars. The car equipped with special accessories like machine guns and a number of other accessories is back, and now we have some more information about it.

Neil Layton, responsible for action vehicles, recently revealed that they used five cars during filming. All cars were replicas with a specially installed protective cage for stuntmen. Drivers were able to use a hydraulic handbrake to perform attractive maneuvers more easily.

One of the stuntmen, Mark Higgins, revealed to Sky Sports F1 that the chase, which lasted about five minutes, was filmed for a full seven weeks in Italy. The cars were also tested by pilots Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel, but they left the performance of acrobatics to experts. Of course, no one complained because filming was a real pleasure.
