Honda demonstrated the power of Passport TrailSport tow hooks

To demonstrate the capabilities of its best mid-size off-road SUV, Honda used a crane to lift three Passport TrailSports. The cars were tied to hooks and lifted to a height of 30 meters from the ground.

Honda wanted to demonstrate the towing power of the cars, which were able to withstand a load of more than 6,350 kg. The Passport TrailSport is one of the versions of the fourth-generation Passport, equipped with a specially tuned suspension, steel underbody protection and powerful tow hooks.

These cars, unlike other off-road models, have front hooks with additional safety designed to separate in the event of a frontal collision. All three cars were equipped with a set of 31-inch all-terrain tires.

The new generation of the Passport is already on sale and starts at $ 48,450. It is powered by a V6 engine with 285 hp paired with a 10-speed transmission that allows it to navigate all off-road terrains. The car is equipped with a second-generation i-VTM4 AWD System for uncompromising stability and performance.
