Mostro Barchetta Zagato

Recently, Maserati introduced its long-awaited convertible called the MC20 Cielo. The cars represent the next iteration of Maserati’s new supercar. However, for fans of retro design, the Italian company Zagato presented the Mostro Barchetta Zagato Powered by Maserati.

The cooperation between Zagato and Maserati started back in 1931, and this elegant convertible was inspired by the 1957 model, Materati 450S, but without sharp edges. It is equipped with a curved windshield in front of which is a long hood combined with an oval-shaped radiator grille, while the roof gives a comfortable interior.

Second on offer is the 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 engine with 621 hp (457 kW) and 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque. The same engine is used by the Maserati MC20 Cielo. The engine is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It will reach 62 mph in about 3 seconds with a top speed of 199 mph (320 km / h).
