AC Schnitzer celebrates 35 years of tuning BMW cars

One of the best tuners of BMW cars celebrates 35 years. It is a German tuner company, AC Schnitzer, which is successfully making BMW cars better, and this time it has prepared a special “35 Years” Upgrade.

The story begins in 1987 when the tuner began improving BMW, Mini and Toyota vehicles. The quality of their work is evidenced by the fact that their vehicles were often chosen as the car of the year in sports magazines.

All accessories are available for a range of different models, the BMW 3 Series Touring, 4 Series Convertible and 5 Series. The white 3 Series in the photos also got a front splitter, new sills and 35 Years stickers, while the 3 Series Touring has two different rim sets that additionally improves the look.

The 4 Series is equipped with the same equipment as the 3 Series station wagon version which includes a new front splitter, sills and stickers, as well as the same set of rims.

The 5 Series has received the most improvements, and in addition to the new splitter and sills, it also has redesigned front spoiler elements.

Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R driven by Paul Walker is for sale

Some of the best Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R cars can only be found in Australia, but one special copy driven by actor Paul Walker is offered for sale. It is a V-Spec II model that has only 34,000 kilometers (21,242 miles) on the odometer and is associated with the movie “Fast and Furious.”

Walker was not the owner of the car, but the company MotoRex. The car is equipped with a carbon bonnet, rigid suspension, Volk rims, Trust exhaust system, Momo steering wheel, Nismo gear lever, Greedy cooler and Sparco four-point seat belts for the driver.

When it comes to powertrain, the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R is powered by a 2.6-liter twin-turbo engine with, as advertised, 276 hp (206 kW) but it actually had over 330 hp (246 kW) when it left the factory. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission with rear differential and limited traction.

Although the price has not been announced, but given the popularity of the model and the fact that it was driven by the deceased Paul Walker, it will definitely not be cheap.

Lamborghini Huracan STO improved by Novitec

Two years ago Lamborghini introduced the powerful Huracan STO. It was then described as a road legal race car. Now the German tuner Novitec has reduced the weight of the Huracan STO but also increased the grip, making it an ideal “toy” for speed enthusiasts.

Novitec has equipped the car with lightweight materials so now 3/4 of the Huracan STO body is made of carbon. All carbon parts were produced by Novitec, making the supercar not only lighter but also more attractive. Adaptive suspension has been improved, NOVITEC sport springs for the MAGNETO stock suspension (alternatively available) allow lowering the ride height by up to 30 millimeters, while the exhaust system with and without actively controlled butterfly valves makes the engine sound even more powerful.

Inside, customers can choose the finest leather and Alcantara in any desired color with consummate workmanship in every detail.

Nothing has changed under the hood. The Lamborghini Huracan STO is powered by a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine with 640 hp (470 kW) and 417 lb-ft (565 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox LDF. Reaches 62 mph in 3 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph (310 km / h). It is mounted on lighter and reinforced 20 and 21-inch Vossen alloy wheels, which can be ordered in 72 colors, wrapped in 245/30 ZR 20 (front) and 325/25 ZR 21 (rear) tires.
