First photos of the new Jeep Compass

In March, Stellantis announced the arrival of the third generation Jeep Compass, which should arrive on the market by the end of the year. It will be produced in Italy, at the Melfi factory, and now we have the first photos of the car.

Jeep recently released a teaser showing that the new Compass will retain the seven-slat front grille, but will also get new headlights like those on the Recon model, and new taillights with LED graphics. It will also be equipped with plastic protective elements, which give it a little more robustness.

The car will be built on the STLA Medium platform, which will be shared with several models from the group such as the Peugeot 3008 and 5008, Opel Grandland, DS 7 and the new Citroen C5 Aircross. The interior brings a large multimedia system, several physical buttons, plenty of storage space, a panoramic roof and an electrically operated sunroof, a Head-up display and leather upholstery with contrasting stitching.

When it comes to the powertrain, the new Compass will be offered as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid and all-electric. Stellantis claims that this car will have best-in-class performance and cutting-edge technology. Whether that’s true remains to be seen after the car makes its debut.

2026 Aston Martin DBX S

Aston Martin has unveiled its fastest SUV yet, taking on the Ferrari Purosangue and Lamborghini Urus SE, the Aston Martin DBX S.

The DBX S is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 718 hp and 900 Nm of torque, which is 21 more than its sibling, the DBX 707. Compared to the competition, it has 3 hp more than the Purosangue but 82 hp less than the Urus SE. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, the same as the DBX 707, but is 0.3 seconds faster to 200 km/h.

The car is equipped with a new black grille, new front and rear bumpers, larger sills, and other components that the company claims further improve airflow. Buyers can optionally choose components that further reduce the car’s weight, such as carbon sills or bumpers and a special polycarbonate grille. It is mounted on lightweight 23-inch magnesium wheels. The cabin features patterned seats, the design of which is replicated on the ceiling if the buyer opts for an 18-kilogram lighter roof.

It should also be noted that the DBX S has borrowed some technology from the new Valhalla supercar.

The company has not announced when the first units will reach their owners or how much the DBX S will cost.

Dubai Police will use Rolls-Royce Cullinan

Dubai Police has perhaps the most expensive fleet of any police force in the world, and the new car that will be used on the roads of this Emirate is a modified Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

The car was modified by one of the best tuning companies Mansory and is not the first to be upgraded by this company. The first was the Mercedes-Benz G63 that became part of the Dubai Police force a few years ago.

The car is finished in a combination of white and dark green, like other police vehicles in Dubai. Besides the front bumper with a carbon splitter, wide wheel arches and a set of special rims, it is not known what other modifications Mansory has installed.

What we know for now is that the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is powered by a 6.75-L twin-turbo V12 engine with 619 hp, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all wheels.

The car was presented at the Dubai World Trade Center, and it is currently unknown for what duties it will be used. Dubai Police are looking to increase their presence at the city’s most visited sites such as the Burj Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard.
