Car manufacturers try to attract customers in various ways, so besides the unusual design on offer can be even stranger equipment. One such car comes from China. It is a BYD Yuan Plus with a karaoke interior.

It is built on BYD E 3.0 with the latest electric vehicle architecture, which means it supports 800 volt charging and features BYD Blade battery technology. With rounded lines and common dimensions, this electric SUV looks like a modern crossover. However, the interior is what separates it from the rest of the offer.

Inside, in front of the driver is a 5-inch instrument cluster screen and a rotating 15.6-inch main infotainment screen. The entire interior of the vehicle is inspired by fitness and music. The seats are upholstered in a combination of blue and white leather with red stitchings. On the door pocket are three red strings, which produce different tones of sound when you pull them. The door handles are mounted on speakers located on the door. If you ask, those it have karaoke? The answer is yes.

The BYD Yuan Plus is powered by a front-mounted electric motor with 204 hp (150 kW) and 230 lb-ft (310 Nm) of torque, allowing the car to reach 62 mph in 7.3 seconds. The car is available with two battery packs, 50 and 60 kWh, which allows a range of 267 to 316 miles (430 – 510 km).

When it comes to price, BYD Yuan Plus costs between $ 21,000 and $ 24,000 in the Chinese market.

Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R

Some of the best Nissan R34 GT-R cars can only be found down under. One such Skyline model is finished in a color that is not common for Nissan R34 GT-R cars.

Color is not the only thing that adorns this car, which you will love it or hate it. It is equipped with a new hood with several large openings for better engine cooling, a new front grille and bumper, as well as a Haltech ECU and black six-spoke wheels.

The car is made according to the wishes of the owner, with numerous modifications. What stands out at first is the new engine. Under the hood is a supercharged 3.2-liter engine with 1,150 hp (846 kW). It is the opposite of the standard twin-turbo 2.6-liter in-line six-cylinder engine with 330 hp (246 kW) and 289 lb-ft (392 Nm) of torque, which powers the base Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R. Power is transmitted to all wheels via a 6-speed Getrag 233 manual transmission.

It is not known who owns this car, nor how much the upgrade cost.

Ford GT Has Come To An End

Production of the Ford GT has come to an end. After half a century, Ford has returned to 24 Hours of Le Mans with the latest example of the second generation Ford GT whose production began in December 2016. The racing version, Ford’s long-hidden project, won first and third place in the LMGTE Pro class in the prestigious race that same year.

The latest generation is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with 660 hp (485 kW) and 550 lb-ft (746 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It reaches 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph (350 km / h).

The Canadian company Multimatic will make the last 250 examples of this model by the end of this year. Part of the total production is seven special editions, five of which are reminiscent of Ford’s success at Le Mans in the 1960s. Thus, after six years, Ford will close the story of the supersport carbon two-seater, whose total production will eventually amount to the previously planned 1,350 units.
