Porsche 911 GT3

Porsche has tested the durability and reliability of the recently unveiled new 911 GT3 model.

Porsche has always been committed to the durability and reliability of its cars. On the Italian Nardò track, Porsche tested the new GT3 model by driving it at full speed. During testing, the car covered 3,100 miles (5,000 kilometers) in less than 17 hours at a speed of 186 mph (300 km / h).

After 22,000 hours of testing, the 4-liter six-cylinder Porsche 911 GT3 engine proved to be durable, which was the goal of Porsche engineers. To achieve these results, the new 911 GT3 uses an oil system similar to race cars, as confirmed by Thomas Mader, a specialist in GT road engine engines at Porsche.

Although it is not more powerful than its predecessor, it is much faster and more durable. The top speed that this car can reach is 197 mph (317 km / h). The new GT3 showed its capabilities at the Nürburgring where it was 12 seconds faster than its predecessor.

Mercedes CLS

After Mercedes-Benz unveiled the third generation of the CLS model in 2018, the Stuttgart based company decided to redesign the exterior of the luxury Coupé sedan.

The CLS has a new radiator grille, new bumpers and sports air intakes with vertical bars. The interior is equipped with a combination of leather and upholstery, as well as a new generation of leather steering wheel and a new center console. There are also two large 10-inch screens next to each other (standard) and two 12-inch screens (optional). With the Driving Assistance Package (optional extra), the driver is supported by Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC and Active Steering Assist. The car is painted in metallic blue.

Depending on the type of exterior (AVANTGARDE or AMG Line), the CLS features 19-inch or 20-inch wheels. If you choose the Limited Edition (limited to only 300 units) you will get a range of black details with dark tinted glass for the classic look of the CLS 53.

The engine is still the same. The CLS 53 4MATIC + still offers 435 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the integrated drive generator, the CLS gets an additional 21 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque.

Toyota GR 86

After selling 200,000 units, Toyota decided to launch a new generation GT 86. To respond to the new Subaru BRZ, introduced five months ago, Toyota decided to refresh the GT 86 with a new model, the GR 86.

The new GR 86 has a 2.4-liter gasoline engine with 232 hp (7,000 rpm) and 184 lb-ft of torque (3,700 rpm). Thanks to an increase in engine displacement of 400 cc, the GR has gained an additional 35 hp that allows it to accelerate from 0 – 62 mph in 6.3 seconds. It is 1.1 seconds faster than its predecessor. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and a six-speed automatic transmission is also available.

For better stability and handling, the front suspension (MacPherson strut) and rear suspension (double-wishbone setup) have been strengthened. The roof and bumpers are made of aluminum, and 18-inch wheels with 215/40 tires have been installed.

The interior of the GR 86 is retained from its predecessor, and includes a 7-inch digital driver’s display, an 8-inch infotainment system and is very similar to the Subaru BRZ interior. The only difference is in the seat upholstery and GR badging on the steering wheel.
