All electric Peugeot 308

Peugeot has announced that the 308 model will get an electric version. In response to the VW ID.3 model, Peugeot has announced that the electric 308 will be on the market in 2023.

The electric 308 model will be based on a platform consisting of two options: the CMP platform used by small cars (Citroen C4), for all-electric propulsion and Peugeot’s e-VMP platform as an upgraded EMP2 platform for electric vehicles. The upgraded EMP2 platform is considered the best solution for the electric 308 model.

The Model 3008 will be the first to use a new platform that is thought to be used for the all-electric 308 model as well.

Volkswagen is safe when it comes to sports versions, as Peugeot has no intention of producing GTI and Sport models.

Volkswagen has announced that it will soon introduce the Taigo crossover. Volkswagen has created seven crossovers for Europe ID.4, T-Roc, T-Roc Cabriolet, T-Cross, Tiguan, Tiguan Allspace and Touareg.

It is a vehicle, very similar to the Nivus model that was presented for the Brazilian and Argentine markets last year. There’s also a slightly different front bumper and top radiator grille with a hexagonal pattern.

The Taigo SUV will be powered by TSI gasoline turbocharged engines. TDI units are not listed in the press release. The SUV for the Brazilian market is powered by a 1.0-liter turbocharged TSI engine with 128 hp. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The European Taigo model will be produced in Panplona, Spain.
