The new season of Formula 1 will start soon, and the safety cars will be Aston Martin and Mercedes-AMG. The contract was signed two years ago and the British manufacturer announced that it will use the Aston Martin Vantage and the recently introduced DBX707. Mercedes-AMG still hasn’t decided which cars it will use.

Aston Martin DBX707 is the most powerful SUV in the world that will replace last year’s DBX. It is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 707 hp (520 kW), making it the most powerful SUV in the world. It reaches 62 mph in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph (310 km / h). The power of its powerful engine is transmitted to all wheels via a fast 9-speed automatic transmission with improved differential and limited traction.
Aston Martin F1 Vantage is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 528 hp (388 kW) and 505 lb-ft (685 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. It reaches 62 mph in 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 195 mph (314 km / h). Both cars will wear a green livery similar to that of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.
Mercedes has yet to reveal which cars it will field in Formula 1 this year. Last season, the AMG GT Black Series was used as a safety car, and the GT 63 S 4-Door Coupe as a medical car.
The new season starts on March 5 in Bahrain, and the last race will be held on November 26 in Abu Dhabi.
