In 1964, Porsche introduced its new high performance sports car, which over time became a legend. Of course, we are talking about the Porsche 911. In 1974, the Carrera 2.7 was introduced, which was produced until 1976, and 16,224 cars left the production lines. One of them, a 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera, is up for sale.
This car is finished in Gulf Blue, is in excellent condition and has 52,880 miles on the odometer. It is equipped with front and rear spoilers, front fog lights, rear bumper guards, electric sunroof, Bilstein shock absorbers, ducktail rear spoiler, power windows and a set of 15 inch Fuchs alloy wheels wrapped in 185/70 (front) and 215/60 (rear) Pirelli P6000 tires.
Inside, the seats are upholstered in black leather that also covers the door panels, dashboard, and rear seats (combined with blue fabric). The steering wheel is wrapped in black leather. Additional equipment includes blue carpets, Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, Coco Mats floor mats and a locking glove box.
Under the hood is an overhauled 2.7-liter flat-six engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. Last year, Mahle cylinders .025″, pistons, main bearings, intake valves, rod bearings, camshaft housings, camshaft oil lines, oil cooler, thermostat, pump, spray jets and reservoir, breather hose, connecting rod nuts and bolts, and flywheel bolts.
The Porsche 911 Carrera comes with a Porsche Production Specifications sheet, original purchase paperwork, service records, a stamped warranty booklet and owner’s manual, and a tool kit.
The auction ends on November 29 and the current highest bid is $66,000 USD.
