In 2009, Ferrari introduced the successor to the F430 model, the Ferrari 458 Italia, at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Four years later, a high-performance variant, the Ferrari 458 Speciale, was unveiled at the same event. It was produced until 2015, and about 3,000 cars left the production line. One of them, the 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale, is for sale.
The 458 Speciale is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 with 597 hp (445 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear axle via a Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an electronic rear differential. It reaches 62 mph in 3.0 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h). The odometer reads 16,297 miles.
The car is in good condition, finished in Rosso Corsa and has been well maintained. It is equipped with a rear diffuser, active xenon headlights, carbon-ceramic brake rotors, Scuderia Ferrari mudguards, rear parking sensors, active horizontal front flap to divert air under the car, spring doors to direct radiator air at high speeds, aero fins to the side skirts, a motor system to reduce drag at the rear end and a revised rear diffuser with dual exhaust outlets. It’s mounted on a set of 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Inside, the carbon fiber seats are upholstered in Nero Alcantara with red inserts. Alcantara with red stitching covers the dashboard and can also be seen on the door panels. The steering wheel is made of carbon fiber with LED shift indicator lights as well as a red engine-start button. Additional equipment includes navigation, a CD stereo, a fire extinguisher, aluminum pedals, a vehicle lift system, a rearview camera and dual-zone automatic climate control.
This Ferrari 458 Speciale comes with a battery tender and a clean New Hampshire title. It has a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other damage.
The auction ends on November 30th and the current highest bid is $345,458 USD.
