1968 Porsche 912 coupe is up for auction

With the end of production of the 356, Porsche became concerned that the price of the new 911, as their only product, could threaten the company’s financial stability. Therefore, it was decided to launch a new model based on the 911, the Porsche 912. It was produced between 1965 and 1969 when it was replaced by the 914. Over 30k cars left the production line. One of them, a 1968 Porsche 912 coupe is up for auction.

This Porsche 912 is powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four with dual carburetors, and factory 90 hp (67 kW) and 90 lb-ft (122 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox. Weighing in at 2,130 lbs (966,152 kg) it reaches 60 mph in 11.7 seconds with a top speed of 115 mph (185 km/h). It is mounted on 15″ Fuchs “deep six” alloy wheels wrapped in 185/70 Pirelli CN36 Cinturato tires.

The car is finished in Irish Green, and is in good condition. It is equipped with H4 headlights, a driver’s side mirror, bright bumper guards with rubber trim, black windshield wipers, a retractable antenna, single exhaust outlet, independent front and rear suspension, Bilstein shock absorbers and replacement PMB brake calipers.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in black leather that also covers the door panels and dash, with matching carpet. In front of the driver is a wood-rimmed four-spoke steering wheel and a five-digit odometer showing 78,388 miles. Additional equipment includes front seat headrests, replacement lap belts, rear vent windows, a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo, a heater, and Coco Mats floor mats.

The car comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the original purchase order, an owner’s manual, service records, spare wheels, a tool kit, and a clean Oregon title.

The auction ends on November 13 and the highest bid at the time of writing was USD $43,000.

2018 Porsche 911 GT3 is up for auction

Among the many vintage Porsche models, we came across one of the newer ones with low mileage, the 2018 Porsche 911 GT3. This model was premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013 and was produced until 2019. It is in good condition and the current owner bought it on BaT five months ago. It should be noted that there is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the next owner.

The Porsche 911 GT3 is powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six engine with 500 hp (373 kW) and 339 lb-ft (460 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle with Porsche Torque Vectoring. It is mounted on black-finished 20″ center-lock alloy wheels wrapped in 245/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

This car is finished in black, and is equipped with LED headlights in black with the Porsche Dynamic Light System along with clear side markers, tinted windows, a rearview camera, LED taillights, red Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated discs, front -axle lift system, Sport Chrono Package, a GRP center-bypass exhaust system, and Porsche Torque Vectoring.

Inside, heated 18-way adaptive sports seats are trimmed in black leather with sueded inserts and red stitching. Black leather and Alcantara cover the door panels and dash. In front of the driver is a three-spoke steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara behind which is a digital odometer reading 14,458 miles. Additional equipment includes carbon-fiber trim pieces, WeatherTech floor mats, dual-zone automatic climate control, the Light Design package, aluminum pedals, auto-dimming mirrors, Guards Red seatbelts, a Bose sound system, and Porsche Communication Management infotainment.

The car has a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other damage. It comes with service records and a clean California title.

2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello is for sale

Between 1996 and 2002, Ferrari produced a car that marked Ferrari’s return to a front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout, the Ferrari 550 Maranello. It was 23 years after the 365 GTB/4 Daytona had been replaced by the mid-engined Berlinetta Boxer. Over 3k cars of this model were produced and one of them, the 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello is for sale.

Ferrari 550 Maranello is powered by a 5.5-liter quad-cam F133A V12 engine with 478 hp (357 kW) and 419 lb-ft (568 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. It reaches 62 mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h). It is mounted on 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact tires.

This car is finished in Grigio Titanio, and is in good condition. It is equipped with projector-style headlights, fog lights, a hood scoop, a front spoiler, front fender vents, quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear bumper cover, silver-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. , and replacement front shock absorbers.

Inside, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats are upholstered in blue leather. In front of the driver is a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel behind which is a six-digit odometer showing 50,406 miles.
