Dacia has the most loyal customers

The Romanian car manufacturer Dacia, as part of the Renault Group, has been recording outstanding results lately with more cars delivered than Renault. It’s an extraordinary result, but one study shows that this car manufacturer has the most loyal customers.

According to Dataforce research, almost 80 percent of current Dacia customers in Germany would buy their car again. Also, indicators show that the percentage of their loyal customers is 20 percent above the average in the auto industry.

“Dacia manages to attract exactly those customers who keep coming back. It’s something almost no one else can do,” said Marc Odinius, CEO of Data Force.

Tesla is in second place with 75 percent of customers returning to the American brand, while Mazda is in third place. At the same time, Tesla is the brand with the most loyal customers in the electric car segment, ahead of Volkswagen and BMW.

In 2023, Dacia revealed the third generation of the model that has the most loyal customers, the Dacia Duster. The car will be available for a larger number of customers and the entry model will cost around 20,000 euros. Also, Dacia recently premiered the Spring model, and announced that the new Dacia Sandero will be offered as an EV.

2024 Dacia Spring Coming Soon

Dacia Spring is currently one of the most affordable electric cars in Europe, but increasing competition forced Dacia to work on an improved version of this model. The car could soon hit the market, and its arrival was announced by an official teaser published on Dacia France’s “X” (Twitter) account with the description “Coming soon…stay tuned!”.

Visually, the refreshed version brings a redesign of the front part with lights like those on the Duster, but also a redesigned rear part reminiscent of the Sandero Stepway. Also, the Tesser shows slightly larger wheels, but also that the ground clearance has been increased, giving the vehicle height despite the lack of roof racks. It is not known whether there was a change in the cabin. More information will be known after the premiere.

Dacia Spring was premiered four years ago, and two years later the front fascia and new Dacia logo were redesigned. Last year it was introduced with the Extreme trim with more features and power. Dacia Spring is powered by a single electric motor with 45 or 65 hp (34 – 48 kW), and is equipped with a 26.8 kWh battery that enables a range of between 220 and 225 kilometers WLTP.

Dacia Duster with a new body kit

German tuner Prior Design has transformed the look of the Romanian Dacia Duster SUV with a new body kit.

The body kit is made of a cheap flexible material, a combination of plexiglass and Dura-Flex, which is suitable for easy application of paint. The car got slightly wider fenders that in combination with the bumper create openings like those in the DTM. The Kit also includes a new front splitter, sills and rear diffuser, all of which cost $ 3,516 (€ 2,999). An additional $ 350 (€ 299) is required for the rear spoiler.

The accessories will suit every Duster from the redesigned version from 2013 to newer ones. The car at the presentation has a lower suspension and is equipped with a new set of forged rims with wide tires.

While the Duster isn’t at the top when it comes to high-performance SUVs, it was nonetheless interesting to Prior Design as the base for their new project.
