Aston Martin Mansory DBX

The first Aston Martin SUV was the basis for Mansory’s new work. It is an Aston Martin DBX model that follows the latest trend of complete performance madness.

The Mansory equipment kit brings lightweight carbon parts such as a new front grille and front lip, additional air intakes on the hood, rear door spoiler for greater downforce, roof spoiler, new diffuser, sports exhaust system, mirror housings, and other accessories.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in black Limegreen leather. The same material can be seen on the center console, the edges of the floor mats, the decorative seams on the instrument panel and the steering wheel with a sports airbag.

What Mansory is best known for and what it is best at is engine performance. The upgraded Aston Martin DBX is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 800 hp (588 kW) and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. This is, compared to the standard model, an increase of 250 hp (184 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm). Thanks to the remapped ECU and turbochargers, it reaches 62 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km / h). It rides on 24-inch alloy wheels with 295 / 30R24 (front) and 355 / 25R24 (rear) tires.

The first fully electric Aston Martin is coming in 2026

Like other car manufacturers, Aston Martin has decided to start producing EVs. In 2026, the first fully electric Aston Martin should arrive on the market.

According to Aston Martin CEO Tobias Moers, the company is currently working on improving existing sports models. After the investment pays off, which will take years, the company will switch to electric models. The honor of becoming the first fully electric Aston Martin should go to the successor to the DB11 model.

The company expects that by 2030, half of the Aston Martin models will be electrified. Tobias Moers said that as long as there is interest in cars with internal combustion engines, the company will not give up the offer. Therefore, models with hybrid motors will also be offered, for markets with a reduced number of charging power stations.

For next year, Aston Martin planned to introduce the DBX hybrid model. It will use a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, and will have all-wheel drive. The engine will be paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. For 2023, plug-in hybrids with a Mercedes-AMG V8 engine will also be offered.

Like Bugatti and Bentley, Aston Martin intends to enter the world of electric vehicle manufacturers.
