All electric Peugeot 308

Peugeot has announced that the 308 model will get an electric version. In response to the VW ID.3 model, Peugeot has announced that the electric 308 will be on the market in 2023.

The electric 308 model will be based on a platform consisting of two options: the CMP platform used by small cars (Citroen C4), for all-electric propulsion and Peugeot’s e-VMP platform as an upgraded EMP2 platform for electric vehicles. The upgraded EMP2 platform is considered the best solution for the electric 308 model.

The Model 3008 will be the first to use a new platform that is thought to be used for the all-electric 308 model as well.

Volkswagen is safe when it comes to sports versions, as Peugeot has no intention of producing GTI and Sport models.
