Audi Grandsphere Concept

Following the Audi Skysphere concept sports model unveiled in August, a new Audi Grandsphere concept model arrives from Ingolstadt. Audi’s second concept electric model will be seen in public for the first time at the upcoming Munich Motor Show.

The unique front grille, slim headlights, short hood and large openings in the front of the fenders are just some of the features of the Grandsphere concept. Thin light elements are visible at the rear of the vehicle, while the electric charging opening is located behind the right door.

The interior of this elegant four-door sedan is made for the future. The best materials were used in the cabin, such as aluminum, wood, glass. The front seats are automatically adjusted depending on the mode drive, and an infotainment system is projected on the dashboard. The car is equipped with an autonomous driving mode, and level 4 provides a complete driving experience without a driver.

This elegant sedan is based on the new PPE platform also used on the A6 E-Tron. It is powered by two electric motors located on each axle. With 710 hp (530 kW) and 708 lb-ft (960 Nm) of torque, this car of the future reaches 62 mph in just over 4 seconds. The electric motors are powered by a 120 kWh battery, which when fully charged allows a range of 466 miles (750 kilometers). Thanks to the fast 270 kilowatt charger, 80 percent of the battery can be charged in 25 minutes. The 10-minute charge gives the car a range of 186 miles (300 kilometers).
