Tesla Roadster: A New Delay And Arrival In 2023

When Elon Musk introduced the new Tesla Roadster at the end of 2017, the plan was to start production in 2020. However, this did not happen due to problems caused by the global pandemic.

Meanwhile, due to supply chain shortage, the start of production has been postponed to 2023. On his twitter profile, Elon Musk said:

“2021 has been the year of super crazy supply chain shortages, so it wouldn’t matter if we had 17 new products, as none would ship.
Assuming 2022 is not mega drama, new Roadster should ship in 2023. “

The Tesla Roadster was presented as the quickest car in the world reaching 62 mph in about 2 seconds with a top speed of more than 250 mph (+400 km / h). It is powered by two electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles with all-wheel drive. The Roadster is the car with the longest range of 620 miles (998 kilometers).

The Roadster is not the only Tesla model whose production is delayed. The same situation happens with the Cybertruck model, which should be Tesla’s best-selling vehicle. The primary reason for this is the price of the vehicle which is $ 39,900.
