BRABUS P 900 Rocket Edition based on the Mercedes-AMG G63

Brabus is one of the best, if not the best, tuner of Mercedes cars that this time decided to upgrade the Mercedes-AMG G63. Unlike previous projects, Brabus went a step further this time by turning the SUV into a BRABUS P 900 Rocket Edition pickup.

The car is based on the Rocket Edition Widestar exterior concept, which brings front fascia inserts and a front spoiler made of carbon fiber, side flaps, a carbon front grille with integrated “Rocket Launch” ambient light, a “PowerView” hood, new carbon bumpers, a new rear diffuser, new exhaust system, RideControl aluminum coilover suspension system that allows the ride height to be adjusted by an additional 45 mm.

The dark interior is covered with black leather in combination with “Rocket Red” and carbon accessories. The seats are upholstered in black leather with “Seashell Diamond” stitching and a red Brabus emblem. The same combination can be seen on the door panels. There is also a Panerai Luminor design analog clock integrated into the center console, aluminum pedals and “BRABUS” inscription on the door sills.

Under the hood is a 4.5L biturbo V8 engine with 900 hp (662 kW) and 922 lb-ft (1,250 Nm) of torque. As a reminder, the standard Mercedes-AMG G63 is powered by a 4.0L V8 engine with 585 hp. It reaches 60 mph in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h). Power is transmitted to both axles via a 9-speed automatic transmission that can be shifted manually or automatically. It sits on a set of 24-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z “Platinum Edition” Aero-Disc forged wheels wrapped in 295/30 ZR 24 (front) and 355/25 ZR 24 (rear) Continental tires.

Mercedes-AMG G63 in “Algorithmic Fade”

One of the most popular tuners in the world, Mansory, presented a special equipment kit for the latest generation of the G-Class, the Mercedes-AMG G63, called “Algorithmic Fade”.

The exterior of the car is decorated with a turquoise color that flows from front to back into black, truly remarkable. It is part of the individualization strategy called “Mansory Bespoke” which brings a lot of carbon fiber parts such as a new front bumper, roof spoiler, front lip, hood, air intake housing and other components.

Inside, the entire interior is done in a single color. The front and rear seats, floor mats, door panels, dashboard, steering wheel and ceiling are covered with specially made turquoise Feroza leather. There are also carbon inserts on the armrests, doors and dashboard, while the Mansory logo and lettering are on the door sills.

The standard Mercedes-AMG G63 is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 585 hp (430 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. However, Mansory thanks to a remapped ECU, a new exhaust system and a downpipe has increased the power of the engine which now delivers 850 hp (625 kW) and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. That’s plenty of power to propel the G63 to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). It is mounted on a set of black 24 inch wheels.

2023 Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4²

Mercedes previously published photos from the testing of the new G-Class. The camouflaged car didn’t reveal much, so one could only guess. However, they decided to reveal the look of the new Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² before the official premiere.

The Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² is powered by a 4-liter V8 biturbo engine with 585 hp (430 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that transmits power to all wheels. The company claims that the new G-Class reaches 62 mph in less than 5 seconds, but consumes as much as 20 L of fuel per 100 km, which, if we take into account current prices, will empty the wallet of future owners.

The car is equipped with a modified adaptive suspension, and the G-Klass is additionally lifted from the ground to as much as 351 millimeters compared to the previous 238 mm. This allows the car to pass through 91 mm deep water and a better approach / exit angle compared to the standard G-Class. It is mounted on 22-inch wheels.

When it comes to price, the Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² is not cheap at all and costs 250,000 euros.
