Creating the Ombre effect isn’t as simple as layering one shade over another. Bentley’s paint technicians begin by coating the car in the chosen contrast colors—front and rear—before meticulously applying the blend in stages. Each layer uses paint tinted by hand, employing traditional mixing methods. Achieving the perfect fade requires roughly 56 hours of painstaking labor, as the craftsmen constantly adapt to the way the paints behave in combination.

The result is a finish that’s both uniform and unique—no two Ombre cars will ever be identical. To maintain quality and visual harmony, Mulliner offers three curated color combinations designed to ensure the transition looks natural and flawless to the naked eye.

Inside, the theme continues. Mulliner’s Bespoke Studio has extended the gradient concept into the cabin, where the front seats, steering wheel, and dashboard are cloaked in Topaz hide, fading elegantly into the deep Beluga leather at the rear. Adding a spark of contrast, a Dragonfly accent color highlights seat piping and stitching across the cabin.

To balance the visual drama, tactile materials were carefully chosen: Satin Beluga veneers line the instrument panel, center console, and treadplates, while the latest tech appointments—Bentley’s Rotating Display, the Naim for Bentley audio system, and the Dark Chrome Interior Specification—ensure the GT Speed feels as modern as it looks bespoke.

Though the car shown in Monterey began as a personal commission, Bentley has now opened the door for clients worldwide to order one of these Ombre finishes through Mulliner’s network. One recent commission, however, takes personalization to dazzling new heights. A U.S.-based client tasked Mulliner with crafting an extended-wheelbase Bentayga that’s equal parts luxury limousine and bold personal statement. The result? A head-turning Candy Pink Bentayga, finished with the Blackline Specification—a package that replaces the standard chrome elements with sleek black detailing. From the grille and air intakes to the roof rails and tailpipes, this Bentayga delivers contrast with confidence.

Inside, the artistry continues. A rich sea of black leather upholstery is elegantly punctuated with Cherry Blossom stitching and accents, mirroring the bold exterior. This Bentayga is no mere showpiece, either—its 22-way adjustable airline seats offer heating, cooling, and one of the most advanced massage systems ever fitted to a production vehicle. Bentley doesn’t call it “the most advanced seat ever fitted to a car” lightly.

Rear passengers are treated to an experience more akin to a private jet than an SUV. A rear drinks cooler houses fine wines or champagne, ready to be enjoyed from the included crystal flutes. Bentley hasn’t revealed how much this custom pink chariot cost its proud new owner—but with options like these, the final price likely rivals a down payment on a luxury home.
