Restomod Audi Ur-Quattro by ABT Sportsline

In the 1980s, Audi produced the Ur-Quattro racing car, which was the first rally car to take advantage of the new rules that allowed the use of four-wheel drive in competition racing. Now, German company ABT Sportsline has decided to pay tribute to the car, with a restomod that will be produced in just 30 units.

The car was unveiled at the “Friends of ABT” event, and company CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt said that this car has a special place in his life. After taking over the position of the company’s first man from his father, Hans-Jürgen was given this car and he decided to leave his mark on it. He decided to redesign the car, which included changing the front end, and installing wide fenders, new bumpers, a hood with air vents and a large rear wing all made of Kevlar and carbon. Also, the headlights from the Sport model and magnesium wheels were added.

To make each car special, ABT decided to equip each one with a unique chassis, and owners will be able to register them in Germany with special H license plates. Buyers will also be able to personalize the car’s interior with the ABT Individual program.

Under the bonnet is a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder turbocharged engine with 532 hp. That’s far more power than the original model, which only had 200 hp, or the Sport Quattro model with 306 hp.

There is a lot of interest in this car, and the company announced that they sold 25 units in the three hours after the presentation. The price is not known.
