BMW E46 station wagon with M3 body conversion is for sale

Nothing can stop car enthusiasts when it comes to achieving their goals, and proof of that is the story of a German who decided to build his BMW E46 M3 Touring and put it up for sale on eBay.

BMW never officially released the E46 M3 Touring or any M3 Touring until recently when the 2023 BMW M3 Touring was introduced. However, one unique station wagon was produced, but it is in the BMW museum and never went into production.

The basis for the construction of the E46 M3 Touring was the BMW 330xd. If you take a closer look at the car, you’ll see how meticulous the owner was and how impeccably maintained the car was. The body (bonnet, bumpers and fenders) is made of original M3 components, the four-wheel drive has been replaced, xenon headlights have been installed, the roof, diffuser (like the one on the M3 CSL) and side mirror housings are made of carbon fiber. The interior is completely from the M3 model.

Under the hood of the Silver gray metallic car is a 3.0L diesel inline-six engine with 182 hp (135 kW), mated to the original 5-speed automatic transmission.

The car is being auctioned on eBay, and the current highest bid is EUR 15,160.00.

Tesla Semi Truck deliveries begin in December

After a long wait and several delays, Tesla Semi Truck production has finally begun. The news was confirmed by Tesla CEO Elon Musk on his Twitter profile.

The story of the Tesla Semi Truck began five years ago, when it was announced. The start of production was planned for a period of two years, which, however, did not happen. After that, the employees were informed that the truck was already in limited production and that “it is time to invest everything in order to start mass production”. However, in mid-2020, it was said that production was being delayed until next year. Last year, the company informed shareholders that the delay was due to limited availability of battery cells and problems in the supply chain.

Musk announced on his Twitter profile that the delivery of the Tesla Semi Truck will begin in the last month of this year, and the first 100 copies will be delivered to Pepsi, which was among the first to order this vehicle. Also, other American companies such as UPS and Walmart can expect their Semi Trucks soon.

The Tesla Semi has a range of 300-500 miles and will sell for $150,000 (base model with a range of 300 miles) and $180,000 (500 miles range). Up to 60 mph comes in 20 seconds with an energy consumption of 2 kWh per mile, and reservations cost $ 20,000.

Alpine A110 R Fernando Alonso

The French car manufacturer Alpine unveiled its new car with which it pays tribute to the Spanish Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso. Following the recently introduced fastest model, the limited edition is called the Alpine A110 R Fernando Alonso.

Fernando Alonso’s Alpine A110 R is powered by a 1.8L 4-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 300 hp (221 kW) and 251 lb-ft (340 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The car is lighter compared to the standard A110 R model, but also closer to the ground. It reaches 62 mph in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 177 mph (285 km/h).

The limited edition will be produced in 32 examples, which is the number of victories achieved by the Spanish driver Fernando Alonso in Formula 1. As a Renault driver, he was a two-time Formula 1 champion. Each car will be finished in the matte blue color that adorns Alpina’s Formula 1 car this season. In addition to the serial number plate (00/32) and Alonso’s signature in several places, the driver’s sun visor will feature the drivers’ motto: “There are more paths to the top of the mountain.”

When it comes to price, the limited edition A110 R isn’t cheap. Each car costs 148,000 euros, which is 43,000 euros more than the standard A110 R, and the price includes a replica of Alonso’s helmet.
