Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo

The Mission E Cross Turismo is an all-electric sports car for an active lifestyle. With four doors, four individual seats and a rear end, the E Cross Turismo offers more space for adventure.

Thanks to its increased ground clearance, robust chassis and E-all-wheel drive, the Mission E Cross Turismo is always ready for new terrain. The front, with its extremely flat bonnet section, clearly shows the connection to the Porsche 911. With its vertical air intakes for the air curtain around the front wheels, it oozes unbridled dynamics.

The front end has LED matrix headlight units with four-point daytime running lights. Additional lights are elegantly integrated into the bonnet. With its distinctive rear wings and sporty line, the Concept Study Mission E Cross Turismo is identifiable as a Porsche from the side. The rear design features a continuous light strip. An electrically operated charge port is elegantly integrated into the design on both the driver and front passenger side. The Turismo rear end with large tailgate and variable luggage compartment offers plenty of space.

Futuristic interior design gives openness, purism, clear architecture, driver-orientation and everyday driveability. The interior design features anodised surfaces and ambient lighting. The door panels impress with 3D elements and the ingenious air-conditioning vents function entirely without slats. The four sporty, lightweight seats with illuminated Porsche logos are inspired by the racing seats. Both rear seats are furnished with a practical load-through option for skis.

The Concept Study Mission E Cross Turismo has a 440 kW (600 hp) electric motor. Accelerates from 0-62 mph in under 3.5 seconds with a range of over 500km. With its innovative 800-volt technology, a range of 400km charges in 15 minutes.

Aptera 3

Aptera has introduced an interesting solar-powered electric vehicle with a range of 1,600 kilometers. It is an Aptera 3, an electric three-wheeler with an elegant design.

The vehicle has a lightweight construction and an incredibly low air resistance of just 0.13. It uses only 100 Wh of energy per 1.6 kilometers.

The Aptera 3 has a 100 kWh battery that allows a range of up to 1,600 km on a single charge. Solar panels on the roof can add 64 km of range during a sunny day. The installation of additional solar panels allows the vehicle to cover an additional 38.8 km. The Aptera 3 with the largest battery of 100 kWh weighs less than 1,000 kg. The battery is compatible with a DC charger, an hour of charging is enough for more than 800 km range.

According to the company, the Aptera Never Charge is designed to collect enough energy from the panels to cover more than 17,700 kilometers a year. No mass-produced electric vehicle has a range of more than 800 kilometers. Solar panels produce enough energy for a daily drive of more than 64 kilometers.

The Aptera 3 will also be available with a 25 kWh battery sufficient for a range of 402 km. There will also be a model with a 40 kWh battery and a range of 644 km, as well as a model that will power a 60 kWh battery and provide a range of 966 km.

Also, there will be different types of engines on offer. So far, engine power has not been revealed, but it is known that models with front-wheel drive will accelerate from 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds, and on all three wheels in 3.5 seconds.

All 330 cars were sold out in 24 hours at a price of $ 26,000. And deliveries should start next year.

Volkswagen ID 6

In 2023, Volkswagen plans to launch the fifth ID electric car, a production version of the ID Vizzion concept. Volkswagen is developing a new model under the name Aero-B, which will be called the ID 6.

This model will be a rival to the BMW i4 and Mercedes EQE, and will be offered in both saloon and estate forms. It will be similar in dimensions to today’s Passat, but in the interior it will offer more space that can be compared to the one in the “retired” Phaeton.

ID 6 will be based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, which has been specially developed for electric cars. This model will arrive after the ID 3 hatchback, the recently introduced ID 4 SUV and the ID 5 coupe-SUV to be introduced next year. Also, in 2022, a production version of the MPV ID Buzz concept is expected.

From 2023, production of the ID 6 model will take place at the Volkswagen plant in Emden, Germany. The current home of the Passat and Arteon is undergoing a process of major improvements. By 2023, it will have a production capacity of up to 300,000 electric cars a year.

The first ID models from the production line in Emden will be ID 4 and ID 5 in 2022. Temporary production is at the Zwickau plant. ID 6 will be produced in China from 2024 in collaboration with Volkswagen and its partners SAIC and FAW.

The ID 6 will be offered with one motor for rear-wheel drive or two motors for four-wheel drive. The second version will have a GTX performance model that will accelerate from 0-62 mph in 5.6 seconds. The single-engine version will accelerate from 0-62 mph in 8.5 seconds.

Like other ID models, the ID 6 will be sold with a variety of batteries. The best model will have an 84 kWh battery that will give it a range of 431 miles on a single charge. This range will be the result of an improved lithium-ion battery, reduced rolling resistance and improved aerodynamics.
