Restomod Porsche 911 Carrera RSR costs 375,000 euros

One of the world’s best companies specialized in restoring, rebuilding and tailoring a cult classic for Porsche enthusiasts, RSR Project, has revealed its new project based on the Porsche 911 Carrera RS.

This car pays homage to the original 1986 Rennsport Rennwagen (RSR) racing car. It’s finished in an instantly eye-catching Gulf Oil livery, and compared to the original, the front and rear bumpers have been removed. The hood is made of aluminum, while at the back there is a ducktail spoiler. Inside, new carpet, new headliner, original dash, upgraded gauges, racing shifter and roll cage grace the car’s interior.

The original 911 was powered by a 3.2-L engine, and in the RSR Project they decided to increase the volume to 3.4-L and 235 hp (175 kW). This is significantly less than half the power of current Porsche atmospheric flagships, but still enough for the driver to have great fun and enjoy driving. Also, the ECU has been modified, new high-performance camshafts, improved four-piston brake calipers, and Bilstein shock absorbers have been installed.

The car is mounted on 15″ rims wrapped in Michelin TB-15 tires.

When it comes to price, this restomod Porsche 911 RSR costs 375,000 euros.

2025 Maserati MC20 Tributo Modenese

Celebrating its 110th anniversary since it was established in Bologna, Maserati has unveiled its new unique car, the MC20 Tributo Modenese. With this car, which will debut at Monterey Car Week, the Italian manufacturer also pays tribute to the city of Modena, where the headquarters are located today.

The MC20 Tributo Modenese is the work of Fuoriserie, the Maserati personalization program, that allows you to create one-of-a-kind Maserati cars, styled by you. The car has a black and blue body, with yellow details, as well as a graphic on the hood representing the trident, Maserati’s trademark. There are also black rims behind which are hidden contrasting yellow brake calipers.

At Monterey Car Week, which will be held from August 9 to 18, Maserati will also display the MC20 Icona, MC20 Cielo and an all-new super sports car, which will be inspired by the GT2 racing car. In the previously published teaser, you can see the openings on the front fenders, a carbon splitter and a motorsport-inspired hood.

Maserati has not announced which engine will power the MC20 Tributo Modenese. The standard MC20 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 Nettuno engine with 621 hp (463 kW) and 538 lb-ft (729 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the rear axle. It reaches 62 mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 201 mph (323 km / h).

Mustang Mach-E reached 916.74 km on a single charge

In April, Ford introduced a refreshed edition of its first all-electric crossover, the Mustang Mach-E, with a longer range than its predecessor. Now the car has achieved a truly remarkable result by traveling 916.74 kilometers on a single battery charge, a new world record for a production EV.

For this venture, Ford chose the Mach-E Premium Extended Range RWD driven by Kevin Booker and Sam Clarke. The plan was to cover as much distance as possible within 24 hours on one battery charge, and they chose the route of Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire. They wanted to simulate conditions in the real world, so they used urban and rural roads. They also used several methods to prove their success, including independently verified footage, watch readings, GPS data, and battery level information downloaded from Webfleet.

The car was equipped with a 91 kWh battery that provides a range of 600 kilometers (WLTP). However, in order to achieve the record, the team made a few changes, such as fitting a set of 18″ wheels instead of 19″, wrapped in low-rolling-resistance Bridgestone tires that helped generate extra kilometers.

The longest distance traveled by a vehicle with one battery charger is muc022. It is about a vehicle constructed by students, which achieved a range of 2,573.79 km last year.
