Unique AR Zagato Giulia SWB

Unique AR Zagato Giulia SWB

Celebrating a century of collaboration between Alfa Romeo and Zagato, which began with the Giulia Quadrifoglio GTAm, the companies have unveiled a unique model, the AR Zagato Giulia SWB.

The car is based on a shortened platform of the standard Giulia, and its creation was the wish of an unnamed customer in Germany who is an avid collector of Zagato’s automotive creations. This time he suggested that he would like an Alfa whose exterior will be a reminder of the Alfa/Zagato models SZ and TZ.

This CoupĂ© with two seats and two doors, under the carbon body, hides the mechanics from the most powerful and numerically limited edition of the Giulia Quadrifoglio, which bears the GTAm designation. It is powered by Ferrari’s 2.9-liter biturbo V6 engine with 540 hp (397 kW) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission instead of the standard 8-speed automatic transmission from the Giulia GTAm, which was the customer’s wish.

The car has been delivered to the customer, and the performance and price data of this unique car have not been published.
