1996 Porsche 911 Turbo for sale

1996 Porsche 911 Turbo for sale

In 1994, Porsche unveiled the 993 model, which most collectors consider to be the best of the air-cooled 911 series. It was the successor to the 964 model and the first to get a 6-speed gearbox. It was produced until 1998 and one of them, the 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo, is for sale.

The 911 Turbo is powered by a 3.6 L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine with 402 hp (300 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip rear differential. It reaches 60 mph in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h). It sits on a set of Silver 18″ Turbo Twist wheels wrapped in 225/40 (front) and 285/30 (rear) Bridgestone Potenza S-04 tires.

The car was purchased new at The Porsche Exchange of Highland Park, Illinois, and has only had one owner. It is finished in Guards Red and is equipped with integrated fog lights, headlight washers, fixed rear spoiler, rear window wiper, stainless steel exhaust outlets, sunroof and automatic brake differential (ABD). In 2014, the exterior was refinished which included the application of a paint protection film to the front body, door sills and rear fenders. It comes with factory literature, service records, car cover, tool kit, charger and sunshade, as well as spare floor mats and magazine articles.

Inside, the heated power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in black leather that covers the dashboard, door panels and center console, as well as the steering wheel. It also has air conditioning, an aluminum gear lever and parking brake lever, Porsche floor mats and cruise control, as well as the Passport 995 radar and laser detector. The odometer reads 76,000 miles, but the exact number cannot be determined with certainty as the odometer was replaced last year.

The car has a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other damage. It comes with factory literature, service records, car cover, tool kit, trickle charger and sunshade, as well as spare floor mats.

The auction ends on November 23, and the current highest bid is $96,993 USD.
