Urus Scatenato based on Lamborghini Urus Performante

Last year, Lamborghini unveiled a lighter version of its popular SUV, the Lamborghini Urus Performante. This is the most powerful version of this model, which the German tuner ABT Sportsline made more powerful by creating the Urus Scatenato.

ABT Sportsline is known for upgrading German cars, mostly with a focus on power. The Urus Performante was no exception, as its 4.0L biturbo V8 engine now has 810 hp (596 kW). The performance of the car is not known. It is equipped with ABT Power R technology, ABT turbocharger, a newly developed titanium exhaust system with quadruple ends, but also several carbon components that increase the car’s handling.

As a reminder, the standard Performante has 666 hp (490 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h).

ABT will offer only 99 examples of the Urus Scatenato which will be fitted with exclusive 23-inch black IRL wheels.

All-electric Audi R8 coming soon

A new generation of all-electric Audi R8 sports car has been rumored for a long time, and two years ago those speculations were confirmed. Now, Audi has announced that it is developing an electric vehicle platform aimed at low-production sports cars and supercars, which means the R8 is coming soon.

In an interview with Autocar, Head of Technical Development at Audi Sport, Oliver Hoffmann, hinted that the brand has not given up on sports cars. He added that the systems and modules of the SSP platform will be used, while the components of some other electric platforms will be borrowed. He also confirmed that by 2025, Audi will have at least 20 models in the global offer that will be powered only by electricity.

This means that future sports cars will use different components of the MEB, PPE and SSP platforms, i.e. take the best from the rest of the world, which would reduce development costs, and the cars would have access to the best features of each platform. Volkswagen Group CEO Oliver Blume previously confirmed that models based on the SSP platform will develop up to 1,677 hp (1,233 kW).

When it comes to design, sources say Audi will stay true to its two-seater style.

2024 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid

After presenting the redesigned Porsche Cayenne and its most powerful version, the Turbo E-Hybrid, the Stuttgart-based company expands its range with a third version, the Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid.

Cayenne S E-Hybrid is powered by a 3.0L turbo V6 engine (353 hp/260 kW) combined with an electric motor (176 hp/130 kW) with a total power of 529 hp (382 kW) and 533 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque . It reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 263 km/h (163 mph). It is equipped with a 25.9 kWh battery that enables a range of 90 km. Thanks to the AC charger, the battery is charged with a charging power of up to 11 kW in less than two and a half hours.

This version of the Cayenne found its place between the Cayenne E-Hybrid and the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid. It is equipped with an adaptive suspension that provides stability and exceptional driving comfort, depending on the chosen driving mode, an exhaust system with two double ends in brushed stainless steel, matrix LED lights (HD matrix LED headlights are an option). Innovative technology with 2 compression chambers and 2 valves to adjust the capacity of the chambers enables a very wide range of adjustment of the compression and rebound of the shock absorber, from extremely comfortable and soft to very “hard” and sporty shock absorption. The car is available in SUV (silver) and SUV CoupĂ© (black) body versions.

Inside, eight-way adjustable seats, a Sport Chrono package that includes a mode switch for selecting the desired driving program, stainless steel gas and brake pedals, as well as a Diamar interior package painted in Silver Shade, are some of the equipment that puts the driver experience on higher level. For an extra charge, Porsche offers a new passenger display, including in-car video functions, as well as a new air quality system to protect against particles and pollutants.

When it comes to price, the Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid costs from 117,062 euros (121,227 euros for the Coupé). Orders are open and the first cars will be delivered in two months.
