Modified Range Rover

Range Rover is difficult to modify with taste. There are several aftermarket packages that can precisely match the style and elegance of the Range Rover body and enhance it in some way. RDB LA and 1016 Industries have done just that by introducing the Silver Surfer.

The car is covered in satin silver aluminum foil that makes it stand out even next to an exotic supercar. It is equipped with a front lip spoiler, extended sills, more pronounced wheel arches and a redesigned front bumper with a diffuser, a new exhaust system, and a roof spoiler. The price depends on whether the components (made by 1016 Industries) are painted ($28,500), made of carbon ($35,000), or forged carbon ($40,000).

RDB LA, based in Los Angeles, equipped the car with new 26-inch retro rims. Although their size may have a negative impact on comfort, the brushed aluminum finish matches the exterior design perfectly.

“I believe our latest package brings this vehicle to perfection,” said founder and CEO of 1016 Industries Peter Northrop.

Mythen reaches 100 kph in less than a second

“Anything is possible if you are sincerely determined and you really want to do it.” Proof of this is the project of students from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ) and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences, who produced the fastest accelerating electric car in the world, the Mythen.

As part of the Zurich Academic Motorsport Club (AMZ), the students worked tirelessly on a car that, thanks to the use of carbon fiber and aluminum, weighs only 140 kilograms.

Mythen is powered by four electric motors, one on each wheel, with a total power of 326 hp (240 kW). That doesn’t sound impressive, so what’s the secret? Well, the secret is in the power-to-weight ratio, which makes the Mythen unmatched by even the world’s most powerful hypercars. This vehicle actually has enough power for this platform that the car could take off. However, thanks to a system that keeps the vehicle firmly on the ground, the Mythen manages to get the grip it needs to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in a whopping 0.956 seconds.

The record was previously held by Foerderverein GreenTeam Uni Stuttgart e.V., whose electric car accelerated to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 1.461 seconds on September 23, 2022.

2024 Fiat Seicento

At the beginning of July, Fiat premiered the new 600e, the latest zero-emission model, and now production has begun. Although with the old name (Seicento – 600), the new model has been transformed into a subcompact crossover inspired by the smaller Fiat 500e.

Fiat Seicento is built on the e-CMP2 platform like the Jeep Avenger, and they are powered by the same 156 hp (115 kW) electric motor, which is enough for the crossover to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 9 seconds. that’s not the only thing these two cars share, there’s a 54 kWh battery, and Fiat promises the e600 will have a range of more than 400 kilometers (WLTP). If it is used only in the city, one charge should provide a range of 600 kilometers.

With a length of 4.17 meters, the new fully electric Fiat brings with it an airy and spacious passenger cabin for five people as well as a luggage space of 360 liters. Inside, the 7-inch digital instrument panel and 10.25-inch display stand out.

When it comes to the price, Fiat announced at the presentation that the Seicento will cost 35,950 euros, and in combination with the La Prima equipment package, 40,950 euros.
