Tesla received 1.9 million orders for Cybertruck

Last week, Tesla announced on its official Twitter account that it had built the first Cybertruck in Giga Texas. Demand is strong, and Tesla announced that it has received more than 1.9 million orders.

Tesla has not provided any information for a long time, and the latest was that production of the Cybertruck will begin this summer and that deliveries are planned for the end of the third quarter. This means that this eccentric pickup is well on its way, and even ahead of the planned production and delivery dates, since the American media reported that they heard a little earlier that Tesla had already informed suppliers to be ready for the start of production of the Cybertruck at the end of August.

Each potential customer needs to pay a deposit of only 100 dollars, so there is a possibility that a large number of reservations will not be realized. It will be interesting to see if the Cybertruck will be available outside of the North American market (Europe and Asia) where customers can already pre-order the model. Because of its size and weight, selling the Cybertruck in overseas markets could pose a serious challenge. For example, in several European countries it must be classified as a commercial truck or truck.

Elon Musk emphasizes the innovative features of the Cybertruck, claiming that this electric pickup is not even similar to the vehicles we see on the roads today. “It packs a lot of technology and it doesn’t look like any other vehicle out there today,” Musk said.

Cybertruck will be powered by three electric motors with a total output of 805 hp (600 kW) and 1,033 lb-ft (1,400 Nm), which is enough to push the car to 62 mph in just 3 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h). It has a range of up to 500 miles.

Billionaire parked Rolls-Royce Ghost on the 44th floor

We know that people store their cars in different places, but one Chinese billionaire has put his Rolls-Royce Ghost in a really special place, on the 44th floor of a skyscraper.

The process of lifting the car was recorded and published on the Instagram profile Kurdistan.millionare.cars, and it took place in the Chinese city of Fujian. The car was lifted using a crane, and for this job a company was hired that first built a cage for the car and then lifted it onto the balcony using three extremely durable cables. Unbelievable! If the owner wants to drive the car, he will have to pay again to put the car on the ground. Expensive, but he can afford it.

This is not the first case of lifting a car to a high floor. In May, the Australian rich man parked the McLaren Senna GTR model in a penthouse, worth 39 million euros, on the 57th floor. He is aware that the car will probably remain permanently in the apartment, because removing it would be an almost impossible mission.

What this billionaire will do with his Rolls-Royce Ghost remains to be seen.

Alpine sales results in the first six months of 2023

French manufacturer of racing and sports cars Alpine has announced its sales results for the first six months of 2023. According to them, Alpine is seeing sales growth and plans to increase production to meet demand.

According to published sales results, Alpine sold 1,863 units of the A110 model in six months, which is a 9 percent increase compared to last year. June was the most successful month with 593 cars sold, which is the company’s record for monthly sales.

The main reason for Alpine’s sales growth is the production capacity of the factory. The manufacturer says that the Dieppe plant where the A110 is produced is operating at full capacity to meet the very high demand for the only model it currently produces. In fact, by the end of the decade, this factory will expand significantly to be able to produce even more cars, and then it will already be a series of electric models of different segments.

Also, Alpine intends to return to the American market by 2027, after four decades since the French manufacturer left the US after poor sales of the Le Car (Renault 5) model.
